Hi free_man!
I live in Queensland, Australia; it is 8.30am Sunday and I am writing this at home. The sun is already out, it's going to be another warm day even though we are still in winter. Spring starts officially on September 1, so not long to go.
I usually get onto MyLot any time from 6am onwards (I am always up early).

Here I am again, it's now my Monday morning, August 30th, 8.45am! Incredible, huh? I love learning new things too - you are never too old to learn.
Yes, we have lots of snakes here in Australia, and most of them are poisonous, but we hardly ever see them, although we did have a brown snakes in our yard one time(they are deadly). My son killed it. I hate all snakes.
Some of our spiders are poisonous, but they tend to keep away from humans.
In spite of what I've told you, Australia is still a great place and I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world!

Hi free_man. It's 9.30pm Monday here as I write. I agree, it is fascinating learning where people are from, and the time difference can be so vast in different countries. I have relatives in the UK which is 10 hours behind Australia, and I also have relatives in Florida, USA, which is 14 hours behind Australia! I have a friend in Vancouver, Canada, which is 17 hours behind us!
The weather in Australia is warm most of the time, although we do get snow in Victoria and parts of New South Wales - we have the Snowy Mountains here. I live in Queensland, in the sub-tropics, so we don't get snow here at all. Our summers are very hot and humid, but our winters are perfect - cool at night and warm during the day! Today was 22C (71F) and that's our winter temps!
Our summers are hot and humid in Queensland, and can get up to 104F+ but the average is about 93F - that's why I prefer our winters!
I didn't realize that Missouri got snow, so I have learned something new today.

Hi Abbey. It is 6:20pm Sunday here August 29th. I love this it is great learning where everyone is from and what time of day/night it is all over the world.
We have some pisonous snakes here too but the worst one here in Missouri is the copper head. The baby ones are worse then the adult snakes. But everytime we see one we kill it.
Spiders don't bother me I just step on them.
I love living here in Missouri cause the plants grow wild here and there are some really beautiful plants here.
How is the weather there in Australia?
It is in the upper 80's now but it was in the upper 90's to the 100's last week. We are seeing the trees starting to loose their leaves now. I hate the end of the warm season. We get snow up to your bottom sometimes. I don't look forward to that.
We are carpenters so that means work will slow down through the cooler months but we are going to be working on our home soon.

Hi free_man, I live in India and it is 1:18 AM here. It was a very lazy weekend for me. In India, Cricket is a very popular game. Yesterday, we (India team) could not win in the final match of a tournament. This was very dissapointing, after that, I did not feel good, I slept whole day on Sunday. I woke up in the evening and now I am online in myLot. Hope you will be enjoying your week end!

Hi Dollar. Thank you I had a very good weekend. We love working in our yard we find it relaxing. We love improving our yard and home.
So sorry your team lost. Better luck next time.
it is now 6:15pm here just sitting down to dinner and then TV for a bit. Maybe a little more on the computer. But after working like we work really just want to relax. It is Sunday here. The weather has turned a little cooler. Soon it will be the beging of fall and then winter. Our summer turned out too hot to really enjoy. Thanks for telling me a little bit about your country. Hope the rest of the week brings you great joy!

Hi Portisray. It is now 2:37pm here. Hope you get your laptop fix ASAP. I hope you get the money soon. I hate to be without my computer. Thank God I know how to fix most anything in this computer and have a dear friend I can buy parts pretty reasonable. The only draw back for that is he lives about 35miles from where I live so it might take a day or two to get it done.
