The queen of suspense

I think that Dame Christie was to the UK what Hitchcock was to the US. Of all her books I've read, the most interesting climaxes in my opinion were in " The Mirror broke from side to side" and " Murder in the Orient Express". And her detective was not an Englishman but a Belgian, who has no sidekick unlike combinations from Holmes & Watson to Dalziel and Pascoe. Comments anyone?

I absolutely love Agatha Christie. She certainly is my favorite author, and certainly one of the best authors in the world, in my opinion. Every time I read her novels, whether I've read it before or not, I always enjoy myself. I just can't put them down. They're just that good.

I love Agatha Christie although I havenĀ“t read any of her books for decades. At the time I think I read all her mysteries. I liked very much the settings at those mansions in England. They took me to a world I will never see. One of my favorites was Murder at the Orient Express. But I had my sort side for Tommy Beresford and his very redheaded love Tuppence.

Oh yes, I absolutely love her! I agree that the Orient Express one is one of her better ones indeed. I love Poirot and Miss Marple as characters, and also enjoy the movies based on these books. She was really quite fantastic, the good old Agatha! These days, I am reading Harlan Coben, who I think is the best mystery writer after her. But more modern, of course!
