Yes, but it depends. If I have nothing to say, I won't respond to that comments.

It is hard for me to speak english.. hahahahaha.. even if I would like to express what I have in my mind in a broad way and if I really want to respond what they have written, I still don't know how would I write in english so that, I could express myself... hahahaha... It is different from the other forum, I could speak my own language and you see, I have longer post than here in my lot... haha XD

I do comment back to every response. Even when I receive them on older discussions, I catch up eventually.
Surely it is not a discussion unless the original poster gets back to further the topic?

I don't ever leave a response without sayong something backand that is another reason why I don't start many at all. I couldn't possibly keep up with the comments on my own discussions and respond on topics started by others too. Unless I have something that is really bugging me, and the time available to comment back immediately, I don't start any.
That is just my way of doing things. We each have our own way of course but those who never acknowledge one single response are completely missing the point - though there is one user that, as soon as I have time, I am going to have a field day on their topics

Hi Syvels,
Yes, I do comment back to people who comment on my discussions. If not then what is the point in starting up a discussion. I mean, the point of a discussion is to discuss something, right? Also, if you do not respond back then you don't earn from your discussion so it is a waste of your time all around. The people that do respond though earn as long as the discussion is valid and doesn't get deleted. So ya, it is a good idea to respond back to those that take the time to respond to you.

Of course I do keep track of all the responses which I receive for my discussion, Not only that, even the comments made on the responses. If the comment was useful to me, I do thank them. If I got any doubts I do ask them by commenting. There are times where I don't respond to certain responses as I have nothing to say or ask.. So I just leave them out. Or if 2 or more people have given a similar response.. I don';t respond to all...

Yes,off course. The purpose of mylot is for make discussion. When you start discussion and someone respond it, you should comment on it whether do you agree or not with their opinion. You may add some of your other thought as your argumentation. The discussion would be warm if we could provide facts to support our argumentation. Furthermore, we get paid from what we have done and respond or comment will give you more earning here. Remember, you won't get anything from what others do. Don't ever think that you will earn much when your discussions got many response unless you comment on it one by one.

Of course we will. We get paid by start discussions, respond to discussions, and comment on responses. Please refer to FAQS: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14. It's clearly that we can increase our earning by post discussions, respond to discussions, comment on discussions, or perform searches. There is no doubt that we earn from what we done even though there is no increment in number of our participation after post responses or comment. Number of participation only increase if we post response or comment at the first time. The second post to the same discussion will not increase the number of participation. For example, you post response on a discussion and your number participation will increase by one. The day after, your response commented by others. When you post reply on the comment, your number of participation won't increase but you still earn money for that.

will you also get paid for responding to comments? i noticed that whenever i reply to comments on the discussion i have made, there's no additional # on my post? will i get paid by responding to something like this? (please dont take it against me, it's my pleasure to respond back, i just want to know if "they" will consider answering/responding back to comments for additional "points") thanks!

yes! sigh NO just playing. but i do comment back to everyone who left a comment on one of my discussions.
if i start a very popular discussion, it is a lot of work to comment back to everybody. but i find the time to do so. even if its just saying "thank you for sharing"
but anyway
...........................
thats my story!

Me too. I do respond to those people who comment on my discussion but it depends. I really want to respond to their comments especially if there is an interesting topic that they say, but It's hard for me to express what I want to say. It is hard for me since I am not a native english speaker whom I could express what is on my mind.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It pretty much depends on if I have something to actually say back to the person.

I don't often start new discussions that often these days. But back quite a while ago, when I did start discussions pretty much every day I would always try my best to respond to each and every comment, and particularly if someone had said something really thoughtful.

Sometimes, not all the time. One thing I do however..all the time..is choose a best responce nontheless.
Hence why I don't get offended if no one responded to my comment(s) - because I know that time can be a real *****.

As I am new to mylot I have not yet had anyone respond to any of my discussions but I do hope when I get comments I will have time to respond to them accordingly, maybe not all and I'm sure thats understandable as everyone gets caught up with their own real lives outside of the web! But either way I'm excited and can't wait to start responding to comments!
