I dont know whether he saw that dream or not but one thing am sure about is that if there would only microsoft company in computers, then computers would have been locked up in the high profile organizations. It is the competition in the market which made computers available in every home.
!!HAPPY MYLOTTING!!

Well, this is very true, Bill Gates indeed had a dream and vision to make computer a household toy. Looking right now into the world where even illitrates are using it. I think he has done a great deal. I can see few comments where it says it was due to competition, yes a kind of, but the real competition is not the operating systems, it is the hardware part. Still now Microsoft has complete control over entire Africa, Asia, America and most of Europe. The only sort of competition Microsoft is facing is from Mac and Linux is way back.
So, yes, he has fulfilled his dream!!!

I really don't know bill gates had dream, if he really had dream so, never cam true reason of operating systems are very costly in india. first of all need to reduce prices and provide special packages to fit the budget of all peoples. Second thing microsoft can provides softwars, who will provide low cost hardware?
