Goalkeeper: Almunia is most experienced among 4. Others are very lesser experienced. So, team will be in trouble if he gets any injury !!
Defenders: Very Very young and less experienced defense line up. Sagna, Clichy, Vermaelen are playing for the team in so many games. But how much combination can be made between them, it is a big question for me. Weaker defense line will make lots of trouble for the goalkeeper also.
Midfielders: It is a very good one with all young and ball players like Walcott, Fabregas, Diaby, Ramsey, Nasri, Rocisky, Song. I like the midfield with all young guns which is playing a very good skill, one-touch and speedy football and play with the ball whenever required.
Forward: Van Persie, Arshavin, Chamakh all are very young forward line up also. It is little bit weaker forward line up comparing with others big name teams. But if the players are in form, superstars are not required.
In overall, Arsenal is a complete young team. So, it will be very tough task for the team to win championship but if you like to the quality and speed from the young players, you should not miss ARSENAL at all.

I do feel Almunia is top 5 keepers in premiership. We have the best cover in defence. RB-Sagna & Eboue, CB-Vermaelen, Koscielny, Squillaci & Djourou, LB-Clinchy & Gibbs. We have the best midfield in the league or maybe Europe. We have a different variety of striker that can bring different dimension to the game. In term of squad depth, Arsenal are well place with only Man City have better squad depth. So for this season I'm very optimistic. Premier League title is there for reach. If Arsenal are lucky with injuries, I mean no more long term injuries to key players, Arsenal will win 2 silverware this season. Another double will be good.

After the leaving of LEHHMAN, Almunia brought some confidence for the Arsenal supporters but his performance is so poor than he can't get chance in first 11 now-a-days. He has some injuries also.
And Vermaelen gave very good starting of the season at defense but when he had some injury no one can fill at the position of center defender. Gibbs, Squillaci, Koscielny can't fulfill his place and have very poor understanding to each others.
Song and Sanga trying best as defensive midfielder. Attacking lineup also performing nicely enough.
I think Wenger should get a good Goalkeeper and central defender and should think about proper combination with defense lineup.

Yes, Arsenal are running with lots of young-star and those who are experienced, are not performing best to inspire the team. But the team is too much heavier for any team in the world when they move (e.g.- THE MATCH AGAINST BARCELONA at UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 1st leg).
With so weaker defense lineup, team can't move properly. And in this season, Arsenal are one of the contender of EPL mostly because of poor performance by MANCHESTER UNITED, MANCHESTER CITY, CHELSEA especially.
Though i can proudly say i am an Arsenal supporter because few young-star fighting for Arsenal, not the Superstars and still maintaining one of the best club in the world. i hope this team can win title !

I think unless Arsenal resolve their goal keeping situation, I do not think they will win any title again this season. Walcott has started this season on fire scoring 4 goals in the two games he has started. But what is worrying me is that they leaked goals against Liverpool and Blackburn which I do not think title contenders should be doing so!!
Cheers!

Goalkeep - While Almunia is not too bad a shot-stopper, he is weak at crosses and suspected at the near post. We have seen many times how he got embarrassed with shots at his near post. While he is the most experienced, I think if he is injured, it will give youngster like Mannone and Schzency (how do you spell his name) a chance to perform at the big stage. Anyone as long as it is not Fabianski.
Defend - They lacked a strong player who is good in the air and difficult to knock over the ball. For many seasons, clubs like Stoke with their long throws into the penalty box and Chelsea's Drogba who is so strong on the ball manage to find joy in the Arsenal penalty box. A Campbell mould will be good. So far, Koscielny looks good but one wonder if he is able to handle players like Drogba.
Midfield - Rightly pointed out, this is Arsenal's greatest strength. Fabregas, Song, Rosicky, Walcott, Eboube. We still have Ramsey and Nasri who is recovering from broken legs. The weak link here, Diaby and Denilson. For some reason, Wenger keeps playing the both of them when there are better options elsewhere.
Attack - They are not exactly young here. This department looks rather fragile in even thou they score a lot of goals. Van Persie is too injury-prone. He just pick up another after the Blackburn game. Arshavin is talented but he seem unable to maintain his form and influence consistently. The verdict is still out on Chamakh. Bendtner who is out injured is not one who will install fear in opposition defence.
Overall, while they might be up there again in March, they wont find joy come May unless they can boost up their squad with additions to the defence and goalkeeper. Hopefully, in the attacking sense as well.
