Throwing in the towel

I feel like throwing in the towel today.
I can't shake this feeling of terrible dread. Do not have it in me today to try to work on discussions, love talking to everyone but really need to get a hold on a part time job or something. Do you ever feel like online earnings are too much work for too little. Some days I think it is great, and sometimes I think it is way to slow to ever make a difference.

Honey I know what you mean. I can be online 12-16 hours a day and at the end of the day not be any further than yesterday. Many days I feel like I just want to curl up in bed and cry and send the whole, well you know where.
But as I stretch my rolling eyes forcing them to stay awake as if I throw in the towel it will just make it just as hard tomorrow.
I went to bed at 2 am and up I was at 7am as I had to take care of outside matters, as soon as I rushed in the door I logged into a couple of sites. All I want to do today is cry but what answer would I really get with that.
As I was working last night after midnight all I could think about boy I just have no life, as the tears flowed down my face I kept remembering it is what I have to do. I am so tired some days I want to give it all up but then I remember the refrigerator is empty and there I am pounding away at the keys. You are not alone with this we have to find a way out of debt before the debt kills us.

I am feeling better today and more willing to do the work online regardless of the small amount of money. Maybe it helps that I am not busy today with other things as I have been the last few days. Just knowing you are out there doing the same thing and have it even harder than I do, makes me feel if you can do it, than so will I.
We will get through this one day, this to shall pass, it has to.

I agree honey, yesterday after a few minutes of reading your post tears were just flowing and I was so drained and tired I kept looking at the screen and just could not motivate myself into doing anything so I crawled into bed. My boyfriend was shocked he thought I was sick.
So I got up after 3 hours and came back and after about an hour I could not go on. So I showered and went to bed.
Today I feel better and ready to do some work, and yes hon you and I will look back someday and only remember that we met on myLot, not the bad things, those we will lock in our past.

One day we will find a way out of this mess and when we do we are going to meet each other.
I am sorry if I made you feel worse than you do normally. I was in a bad place also.
I guess I was naive thinking that putting out a plea on Twitter would do anything.
Strangers with money do not want to share it, lol.

I think of mylot as I say over and over again as a site more of for fun, where you have the option of getting paid for what ever little fun you get. I don't think mylot is meant to pay you big time unless of course you are very good at referals. Thats what I think you need to get to do to get the most out of mylot. Easier said than done though!
Sorry I couldn't help more. Please don't give up on mylot though!

I am feeling much better today about things, so here I am back on to the discussions.
I really enjoy the site and any money I make is still more than I had before, so I have to remember that. I am terrible about the referrals for any of the sites I use.

Hi Aurorastorm,
I do understand all about financial stress and feeling the need for a part-time job. I have a full time job but it barely makes ends meet. The money I make on line is really not much at all but I usually get on line late at night when I get home from work and would be on here doing something to unwind anyway so I figure if I'm making money while I'm sitting here enjoying myself then it is all good. Any work opportunity that I would have beyond this would come first because that is where I would make the money that would really make a difference for us. You are right. The money earned on line takes too long and there is too little of it to take the place of a part time job.

Hi there aurorastorm
I do get days like that and I have felt like that a bit today so I haven't been on here all day. I was just logging off when I saw your discussions so I thought I would just respond to yours and then get some sleep. I think a lot of people are feeling like it today because I have hardly had any new discussions arrive in my inbox. When you feel like this you are best of not trying to converse on mylot and give a break for a day or two when you feel more like it or else it will feel like a chore! Hope you are feeling more like it soon.

That is exactly what I was feeling the last two days. Today I woke up feeling renewed and ready to tackle the discussions without feeling like I can't do it anymore. Good to know I am not the only one that feels this way sometimes.

Don't feel so bad. You are just human. Welcome to the club. I experience that every now and then. Since I don't have any other alternative, I just remind myself to stay focus and to keep on earning online until I get my just reward. I know that the more I do, the luckier I get. Eventually, in time, I will be making a lot of money with this. Just be patient and never quit.

You are so right with what you said, I know eventually this will be good and my earnings will increase. Right now this is my best option also so I need to keep plugging away. Thank you patience is always something I forget to have and I so need it.

I understand what you are saying. Sometimes it's really just like that. For a fact paypal deducts a fee for every payment I get from my online job and then to make it worse their exchange rate to my currency is a peso lower for every dollar! I loose a lot of money to paypal every month. I wish there was a way I could figure out how to receive money aside from paypal that will be both beneficial to me and my employer. We all know that exchange rates are not stable one minute is high the next minute it drops. So my earnings fluctuate, At times I feel like really throwing in the towel as you say!

I feel much better today, maybe the sunshine helps.
Nice to know I am not the only one that feels this way. I did not realize what people not in the U.S. go through with paypal and the exchange rate, that just makes it that much more difficult.

not really as some things earn more then others online and as long as i stay consistent and free of distractions i can make a descent amount of money. mylot is ok but its not the best place for earnings unless of course you have lots of referrals that are active which i don't. i have 2 referrals and they haven't been active in months and that's certainly not enough referrals even if they were active.

Most of the time quitting always come in my mind. But I don't see anything good with that. So far the only means I can earn online is through here in mylot. Unless I can find a client (I'm also into freelance programming stuff but so far I have no client) then I don't think I will ever quit.

Yeah I feel that way too. I just keep telling myself to focus on my studies and whatever small profit I make online is just a little bonus
