Woman in Coventry throws cat in bin. What would you have done with her?

Woman puts cat in bin - Coventry woman puts cat in bin

Partial quote from the UK Daily mail... "The woman appears to be harmless as she strokes four-year-old cat, Lola, as it walks along a wall on a street in Coventry. The middle-aged stranger then grabs the cat by the scruff of its neck and puts it in the bin After dropping the poor moggy in the container, she shuts the lid, trapping it inside. The four-year-old rescue cat was trapped in the bin for 15 hours before her owners found her. However, a force spokesman denied that she was being given 'official' police protection, but that there are police community service officers outside her home as a 'sensible precaution'. 'Coventry Police are supporting the investigation and it will be dealt with by the authorities. 'Coventry Police have not arrested the woman because she has not committed a criminal offence." Bear in mind that this woman now has police protection, yet in October 2007 Fiona Pilkington burned herself and disabled daughter to death in the family car after a decade of bullying by local youths- and, despite 33 calls to police had no help. From what I understand she works for RBS, and there is a petition to sack her- or customers will start moving accounts.

Hi, Memnon. I saw this video this week. I don't know what to say about this. It is very cruel. I hope that they catch this woman too! I don't know what would have made her put the cat in the trash bin. Something is terribly wrong with her!

Someone on another site replied that, apparently, she is a cat love, but is suffering distress at her father being in hospital, and is sorry for her actions. Sorry that she got caught on CCTV more like. We have a camera panning our font due to intrusive neighbours. Looks like we might all be needing them!

I would have thought that the rspca could at least prosecute her,as that is animal cruelty.I think people like her should be given a sentence,as that way it would set an example that people can not get away with things like that to animals. She may aswell have been given the green flag to go ahead and do it to other cats and other people know that she has got away with it so they will think that they can do the same as her.I hope someone harms her.
