had a very busy day today
as promised i worked on my beetle today and i feel great
first off i finally visited the guy who was selling his junk volkswagen for 15 thousand pesos only
the body was in terrible shape
bondo and rust
but his engine was ok
i offered to buy his 55Amp alternator and decklid for 5k (alternators cost 12k)
after we agreed upon it i started taking his engine apart to get the part i needed
so now i have a 55amp alternator
took me 4 hours for something that could've been done by an expert in an hour
great learning experience
and then i had the decklid repaired (locks wouldn't fit)
went to my girlfriend's house and made amends for being late and showed her my work
went home after buying primer and body filler and worked on my hood and front bumpers
also did the paint job by using Pylox (not a great job though) while my dad looked on
and then after that fixed the condenser and plugged up some holes
can't imagine a more perfect day for me :D
my volks is ready to take on an aircon finally
so what did you do today?

Hi everyone. For today I was just sleeping for 12 hours. It was my 24th birthday last night and it was a blast. I'm trying to patch up things now and needs to work on mylot overtime.

well i used to believe that the best remedy for a hangover was to get drunk again
but after those hedonistic days i learned water and gatorade mad it go away faster

hahahaha everything was fine. A little bit of hangover but drinking a lot of cold water makes me fine =)

Hiya chipesterkhan,
Wow I would like to see your Car now it must have been a terrible amount of work to put together again.
I have to say that I really admire People who take these kind of Cars and put them back together again with such loving care.
My Day has not been anything compared to yours you really have put in a Days work there. So what does it look like now and did you put in the Air Conditioning?

it looks like a preschooler went mad and sprayed blue all over it
hahaha my paint job's not too good although i was able to make everything blend in somewhat
my girl likes the effect though
she says it's very amusing to see my car with different shades of blue on it
it's not yet show worthy but my engine's terribly great!
it runs well and starts immediately
i think i'm more of an engine guy than a body and paint guy
air conditioning's not in yet cause i have to save up for it
i'm not equipped to work on air conditioning so i'll probably just help out when they put it in

Hiya chipester,
Even so it sounds very good. If the engine is in good shape then that´s the most important thing for now.
I would like to see that so many shades of blue but you can paint it all in one go later on.
Keep going with it chipester. Maybe you can put a photo of it on here when you have finished the Job altogether.

I went to Costco in Yorba Linda. Then I went to Cortina's in Anaheim. After that I came home to mi casa in Pomona, and then I went to my boyfriend's pad in Ontario. I then spent the whole evening at my boyfriend's looking at cosplays to see which one he and I can pull of for the next conventions.

today, started it with attending mass, then went to the mall where we ate at a restaurant, sort of chinese, to celebrate my passing the licensure exam. then went grocery and later after some rest at home we'll be visiting my grandparents at the cemetery to tell them that i passed haha.. that's what my dad said. then i'll spend the rest in front of the computer!

I've been in front of my laptop for almost 5 hours listening to music, reading some blogs about Tokyo, Japan and about fashion, food, and everything under the sun. :) Reading some local forums also to find great ways to earn money that is suitable on my health situation because I'm physically challenged, been in a wheelchair since I was 12 and now I am 20. So, here I am trying to earn for extra and emergencies. :)

well i'm glad you're not letting your challenges make you slack off
my cousin is also bound to a wheelchair and has cerebral palsy but she doesn't let that stop her from earning as a researcher in our family company
we communicate through simple text message or sign language since she can barely speak

Wow, that is certainly a great accomplishment that you did. And for volks at around 15 thousand... its such a good buy. Well, today, I went out went my wife and son. I promised them that I would treat them out in a mall. So we spent that whole morning strolling in the mall and after which we had a good meal in a fancy restaurant. I have been out for most of the time since my work involves conducting training and traveling. This is the reason why when I am home, I usually enjoy much of the time with them. As of now, I am in our house and we are having a movie marathon....

I think If I had been born a guy I wo uld have been fixing up beetles
too as I think they are really cute and neat too. What does you dad

You have had a far more creative day than I have, but I have had a lovely day!!
This morning I walked into the village along the canal with my three grandchildren, we had a bit of lunch and then returned for a swim in our pool.
after that I did some baking with the grandchildren and then played some games.
Now they are playing hide and seek with full tummies from their baking!!
I am just hoping that they go to sleep nice and early tonight!!!
