I'm back participating this time in myLot discussions and I hope it will be forever. My unread messages filed up; imagined up to 100 messages and I'm so sored because I could not answer them. The reason is because of my ISP and what is this ISP? Well I have a wireless ISP and my daughter is paying for it. The bill is quite expensive but the service is very cheap! Imagine for more than a week, I could not browse. Can someone out there please help me by providing the brand or company that provide the best service for my computer. How I wish I could name that company here in mylot but I think it's against the policy.

Wireless ISP is expensive because of portability. But you are right about their poor services. This is due to the network structure a wireless ISP have. They tend to connect several stations (subscribers) using a single IP address. Meaning, if you are in the area in which that wireless ISP have several subscribers, then expect a slow network since all those subscribers are sharing the same IP address. The really sucks!

Hi jamed28, yes some of my friends told me about this wireless connection, that it's a lot of headache. I wish my daughter will give her go signal if I'll choose the wired connection. Thanks for the information and the response.

hi mercedlegurpa I am really pleased with time Warner Cable company as the price is not too bad and even with my ancient Windows 2000 my internet is really fast. Also they have bundles for lower prices like cable internet and televisoin and phone all toghether. I did not want that package as I have no tv and I get lifeline atand t phone for just 8 dollars a month. but cable is great and time Warner is the best.

Good for you; mine is only 5 and the speed is slower than yours and if you do not course them, they won't do anything. What I mean is the company. Thanks for the response.

The word "course" should be "curse". Sorry.
