My bf and I have been in this place for about a week. We hate few things we noticed esp when we go find somewhere to eat. Imagine, the first time we went to this eatery/restaurant, the cup of rice was P10 and used a big cup for measurement, the next day, it was P15 and smaller cup. Yesterday, it was P15 and even smaller cup. BUt when we looked at the local people ordering foods, rice and viands were so much more compared to ours.
Are they ripping us off? We think so. So annoying!

You should have asked them nicely about it. Its not right for you to conclude that they are ripping you off. P5.oo? Come on. Its not even right to point out "local" people getting larger cups. The best thing to do when this things happen in a foreign place is to simply ask nicely. Clariffy things. You are visitors so they will generally treat you well as you bring business to their place. Goodluck next time!

We are planning to go to Sagada next year. Anyway, its a good information you gave me here. I think I would have to be careful when I go there. Sometimes waiters do that when they think they can deceive the people going there. Maybe next time you need to show them you cant be fooled by waiters like that.

That happens on couple occasions with me.I pointed it out to the servers for correction. If they refused, I leave it alone and go elsewhere, or give them
what I think is a fair price. It's as easy as that. Do just that. Have a nice day

I suppose the first day they gave a bigger portion to draw you to keep back back. Little do they know that this will be the reason people just don't return as no one likes to be cheated no matter how good the food is.
