Luck or a fruit of hard work or brought by fate. In my view life is a mix of everything in different percentage. Do you guys believe in luck? Why or Why not?
What could've been a scientific related explanation about luck?

Hi Hushi22,
I think luck is real but I don't think it can be brought on by anything, IE, if you do loads of good in the world your not going to have more luck than a person who does loads of bad to the world. Luck is maybe a misconception of life.....here's my example,
'If you have a love for a car that you really want and would love to be able to afford but you can't, you may think, ok I will work extra hours at work and take a weekend job then after say, 6 months you can afford it'
You can look at this in 2 ways, one is that you had enough luck to be able to get this extra work on and eventually be able to afford the car, the second way is that the people around you put a little bit more effort into helping you and then turned in to one big effort(if you know what I mean) and eventually you could afford the car.
I think it is the second 1 really but everyone has there different opinions. I hope this helped.
Take care,
Dan

I think luck and fate is the same. I believe in fate so I believe in luck. But I don't rely on luck. I rely on my own skills to do something and to achieve something. I don't want my life to be controlled by improbability. I want my life to be controlled with my own hands.

When I think of luck I think of timing. As sometimes it is being at the right place and time.
We often think that people are lucky and then there are those that never seem to be lucky at all.

Luck. I have though of it before. Sometimes I do believe, while at other times I don't. It really depends.
At times, I think that we depend on ourself for everything that we do. We should not blame others, neither should we depend on them.
Luck I believe is brought by fact. However, we should not attribute every bad thing that happens to us as bad luck. This is just a way of life. There are ups and downs. I have this friend who kept saying that she is having bad luck this year and so on. Saying once or twice is alright, but she keeps relating everything to bad luck, even her results! I thought this is really ridiculous and started to tell her that since her mouth and brain is full of bad luck, then she will really have bad luck.
It is okay that we believe in good luck and bad luck but not to the extreme sense.
