Hello ynz... (hard name)
logitech is realy reliable and i suggest buying one of their products.
Secret in using wireless keyboard is having 4 pairs of rechargable batteries, 2 pairs in use 2 pairs recharging.
ps. notice that keyboard usually uses smaller batteries than mouse.

I have a Microsoft laser wireless 6000 v3 set and I love it. The distance is immaculate and I can tell you that although I can be on my pc anywhere from 12- 16 hours per day I find I do not replace them for well over two months.
If ever you were to have a problem with them Microsoft immediately sends you a replace as it comes with 3 years warranty. I had this set at my old job and do have it home, which is where I use it most often.
The number of shortcuts is great as well, as I find it very easy to use. Good luck with this as I stand by the fact that is money well spent.

Hey yunzhbh,
If you're looking for a wireless mouse and keyboard, I would have to honestly suggest that you get rechargeable batteries. If you cannot get those, then a wireless mouse and keyboard is too expensive in the long run.
I had a wireless mouse and keyboard, and had to replace the batteries every couple weeks. After a few months I had spent about $30 on batteries alone.
I have never used any brand other then Logitec but my mother uses Kensington, she's never had problems with it and she's had it for about 2 years.
If you cannot get the rechargeable batteries then I would suggest getting the USB extension cables.
You can get them at any local computer store, they cost about $4.99 each, the cable is retractable and extendable, each extension cable is about an extra 10-20 feet.
The base line on a mouse is about 3 feet.
The base line on a keyboard is about 2 feet.
Added in, you can get about 12-15 feet reach on each, and they don't pull because they have a locking function.
If you're not troubled by the reach of a base cord, and you can't get rechargeable batteries, do NOT get the dollar store batteries.
