Friends mother is dying

My friends mother is dying. I know he doesn't want to talk about it but when I ask he spills his guts. He is extremely good to me as a friend and feel that I need to console him and comfort him in some way. I think about him and feel the need to pray for him and his mother but don't know how to say it and what to say. I don't believe he is a christian or anything for that matter.

hi there... having one of your family member dying is a very difficult one to accept.. people tend not to talk about it because it really hurts a lot.. Being a friend who stands at his side even if that person tries to spills his gut is the best thing to do for a friend who is hurt... You can just pray on your own and in silent sor him to be strong and for his mother that she may rest in peace when her time comes... your friend right now needs a shoulder to lean on...
