Good people may not live long - This is a usage I have heard many times from time to time. Whatever may be the reason, do you know why people say like this? Do you believe in this? I wish to know your comments. Regards, Thank-s

Hi thanks1961, I do not accept that because the CREATOR is the final decision makes. We cannot understand his leelas. He only knows who is bad and who is good -we by the practicly movements and our selfish activities come to a conclusion and say he is bad and he is good. Hence coming to this world and leaving this world is all in his hands.

Hi dear All are Bhagvan's leelas. We make the life as per our conveniences. We have enough to think and can get into conclusions. Yes all are decided and determined. it has been believed that good people die young because they were able to accomplish the task assigned to them by God earlier.

Hi dear, Yes, many believe so. We always do a comparison at such times. Whatever it may be many are still thinks that those who goes earlier is the ones God like them the most. Hi! I also hear those words from other people but I don't believe that good people may not live long. I still believe in God' time. Everything happens for a reason and maybe that's just their time to leave the earth already. Thanks.

Hi thanks Well I have heard this line that.. "Good people dont live long, Because God also want them the same way we do." And also "Wicked people have longer life, as God want them to give more chance to change themselves" And there are some examples too that justifies the above two statements. But still I think totally believing on it would be being superstitious.

As you said, we can assume that good people go fast and the remaining has still getting a chance to show good in the remaining time. Hope people will realise that. i also know about this. i'm not sure if it's true but i had this grandfather who had so many bad habits and is said to be a mean person but still lived longer than my better grandfather (when it comes to attitude and habits). when it comes to people dying, maybe the 'bad' person/people have a stronger immunity or God just took out the good ones so they won't be further tainted. if we put it in the biblical sense, bad people are given ample time to correct their wrongs and if they still don't correct them God takes them. that's just my opinion.

dear thanks1961, i dont believe in it. it is mostly coincidence. i have read about convicts who had an exchange of fire with the authorities and when hit, they are placed in hospitals to recover. and they live. that doesnt mean that because they are bad, they live longer. it is just not their time yet. have a nice day. ann

Hi dear, Yes, I am agreeing with you. Mostly people make a comment like to please the diseased. It is just a saying only people are getting a kind of relief and satisfaction on this. As you said, these all are coincidence and circumstantial. If we want to judge as positive, there are reasons and comment negative and have justification for that also. I don't believe in it. But people who believe in this mode of thinking tell us names of celebrities and others in real life who have passed away early in life.Their way of thinking being those who live longer do not contribute more to the people at large.Though i can't say i agree with them.
