When is Cars 2 going to be shown?

My 3-year old son is a big fan of Disney Cars. He had watched this movie several times already. In fact, he have a collection of these cars. Even we the parents have become so fond of this movie, too. We even have this as a theme for one of his birthday parties. Now I know there's going to be a part 2 of this movie. I just wondered when this is going to be shown. Do you have any idea when? Or was this already shown? Please tell me...

oh l guess l stand corrected. IMDb says 2012. l hate the fact that they are making a sequel :(

it's going to be "filmed" in 2011 but the premiere is in 2012 and don't get your hopes up.

I am excited about Cars 2 and cannot wait until next summer to see. I loved the first one and the second one sounds like it will be good, too. I like the idea of the Cars characters traveling to different races around the world.

My son loves Cars as well! I didn't even know they were coming out with a new one so sorry I can't be any help to your question but I am definately going to keep my eye on this disscussion as I'd also like to know when it will be coming out.

Omg...I didn't know that there'll be a second part of the movie...hehe, for all I'ver heard it will be released next year...something that somebody already said...anyway, i'll be waiting it...
