What to do when your patience is pushed to the limit

Dear Friends, I'm having a bad day and I needed to release my tension. Technically, I am a person who do not easily lose my temper. There are just some situations that drive me crazy that I lose my patience and end up not wanting to speak to anyone. One of those situations is a repeated promise that was never kept. It's better that I'm not given any promises so I won't expect. When it does happen like today, I refuse to go out of the house or be with the person who caused it to avoid making things even worse and I spend my whole day doing crafts like knitting, crocheting or some other activities that help divert my thoughts that will eventually cool me down. With that, I also lose my appetite and until I feel good I can't eat. What about you, what do you do when you run out of patience? Do you also despise being promised by someone who can't make good the promise they made in a long time?

Good for you because you seem to have a good way to divert your anger. Me on the other hand tends to eat a lot when I am angry and stressed out. I eat my comfort food which are usually calorific and at times it makes me guilty.

Hi Caliya, I wish I can find a good appetite despite my stress and hot temper so that I won't feel as starved when I do wake up the following morning. Sometimes I suffer discomfort due to hyper-acidity and when I do eat, most times I experience G.E.R.D. that would even sometimes give me nausea. I am like this since my early adolescence stage. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a nice day!
