Why do you think your life is important?

Every human being existing in this planet is very important. For God has planned to enable us to become like Him and receive the fullness of joy here on earth.

life was a gift from god, my existence in this world certainly would have any meaning at least a small though significant for my family life

I don't think all of us are put here to do great works. If I can look back and say "I helped my mother stay independent for as long as possible" I think I've done enough. Since I can also say "I have saved a few kitty lives and helped one man get his adoption records opened and also helped a lady get her adopted son's records opened so to help her grandson" I think I've done enough that if I were to die tomorrow (and with this headache it doesn't seem such a bad idea) I have done enough... however, I don't think I can plan on going tomorrow and besides, who will help start the Great Courses on Wednesday were something to happen to me? They like me at mom's... oh, ran into a couple of ladies who work at mom's place yesterday (Aug 28th 2010) at Walmart...

I am different and therefore I am not design just like anybody out there. Because of that I can be confident with myself that I have some purpose here on this earth. The reason God allowed me to be born here is already important. That means I have some role to play and I must carry that in a successful manner. Currently I am working hard to help my myself and my family. I think I am born here to help my family financially. And that is the important role I have to fulfill in this life of mine. And it is something that I am trying to do everyday.

Hi, For me, My life is very important to me.it is not only about I myself,it also concern about my family, my husband, my son,my parents and my siblings. THey are always in my heart and they are my best friends too. Having my own family, it means I have more responsibility and in order to go ahead with my life, I have to get myself up and work hard to bring my family happiness.

I was put here on this earth for my two children. I have endured a great many challenges and still go through them but each day I battle them out and become a better person and strive to continue this way. I say my children because I see a great deal of destruction in my surroundings and if I were not put on this earth they would have perhaps be born to someone else who against all odds and trials I have shown them how to be responsible caring and respectful human beings.

Our lives only become important when we realize that it really isn't. When something even bigger than us is at stake we tend to become better people and thus becoming people of substance. When we live for others (whether it is one person or the world) like your aim for research to help others, then we truly become significant. Otherwise, we are just decoration, which isn't half bad. :P Nice topic, GemmaR! +!

every person in this planet is important. we are important because we belong in our family. we are also important because we have friends who love us. we are important because we are concern with the people surrounds us. :) we are all important because we are someone's sibling, daughter or son, friend, schoolmate, teacher, neighbor... etc.. happy day to all!

Life is important because God gave this to us. What we can do is to use this in God's Glory.

each and everyone of us plays an important role. I am important, my family needs me, my friends, and other people too.. i can give love, respect, offer help, i could be everybody's need(im trying) :D
