this is what my sister used to ask in all of the family members inside the house.
it was not natural for us to be complete here in our house, because of busy work schedules or studies. we are all seven in the family, that includes my mom and dad,the 4 sisters including me and my niece. usually, there are only four who stayed inside the house.the three sisters used to stay home for weekends only,or if not, they always stay home late.which doesn't feel like we don't have not much time to see and feel the presence of them.
"can we take a picture, since we are all complete now"?
i find it funny though, but come to think of it,we only see and interact with each other during weekends.well, not always.but during this times of completeness,it feels like home, really!
we have missed the moments when we are still kids who just hang around the house and play or watch movies together.but now,we seldom feel complete.and it feels we've been missing the old times.
have you ever felt this way?
wishing that you are still a child who doesn't seem to be responsible for anything, all you ever think of is playing, not making money to support the family?

That thought had crossed my mind several times lately, sweetie.
It would be nice to be a kid again, with no worries whatsoever.
The picture idea sounds great as most of us don't have the time to really interact with family and friends anymore.
Sad, actually.
TATA.

yes,it's so nice to be a kid again, having no worries about responsibilities or something.
but as we all say,we can't turn back time.
about the family being together.we are just starting to be in separate ways,me and my siblings don't have much time to see each other everyday.and we miss those bonding times we used to have. one of them are working while studying while renting a boarding house.the other one is staying at her office and sleep in their dorm there. the other one used to go home late at night. we really have no interactions physically, rather than weekends only.
so sad,but things will be all different in the future days specially when we have our own families to live with.
that's the sadness of life...

My Mom lives in a different island than mine, as well as a couple of brothers, so It is hard for my family to be together unless it is Christmas. Even with some Christmas, my brothers opted to go somewhere else. So whenever, we are all together, it is as good time as to take a family picture. Especially with a digital camera, it is so easy and we can take pictures after pictures.
I did not have a good memory on my childhood, for some reasons. I did not miss it, but yes I sometimes feel if only I can relax and money still coming my way...

that was so sad, dear! having miles apart with your loved ones is really sad,and you only get together during christmas? that was terrible! well,if you have your own family,it would be considerable, but if you don't have and you are miles apart from them,it's really too sad!
thanks for the technology nowadays,it can be easier to take photos with an instant. i like those cameras which can give out the pictures instantly, all you have to do is shake them and dry for how many seconds.really amazing!

Oh several times. Because growing up, people around me are always busy. Last time me and my family had a family pic is last Christmas. We don't have that much pictures. We don't actually get complete on a daily basis. Even if we're all at home, there will always be something to do. We don't even eat together because we're all busy. And the times that we're all together is really something special.

oh,that's sad to know,dear!
as we grow older,we became busy with our own lives that we can't have much time to bond and capture the moments of being together as complete family again.well, when i started this topic,we didn't seem to capture the moment of being together as a complete family that time, and now,we can be complete again in the weekends.hmmm...hopefully,we'll have photos to capture.
it's nice to have a complete family gathered around specially if you really have not much time being together.and make sure that if you do bond together, take photos of it.it's nice to bring memories come to life again when you are looking at pictures.

hi vi!
yes, at times i wish i am a child again, just staying beside my mom and don't have much things to think about. but we just can't stop the time and so what we must do is to change with it, adjust and ;learn to enjoy the present. the past is just there for us to reminisce and bring back some smile to us when we remember them (the good times)
with our family, i think we are also doing that, whenever we are complete, we ant to have a picture taking as a souvenir for that rare moment! specially now that we already have our on lives whenever we visit our grandma's place during some occasions, that was the time that e become complete as a family (fathers side) and take the time to have our pictures taken.
actually that's also part of my plan hen i get home come December, i will be making sure to have a family picture with my parents & my brother and of course with my husband. it just happen once in a year so i will surely be taking the chance.

taking pictures is really a need specially when you seldom see those loved ones you have.
by capturing the wonderful moments make us feel better and by looking at those pictures we always wanted to bring those times back again.
we all need to have bonding times with our loved ones cause it helps our heart grow with memories of them.having them physically at the same time interacting with them, sharing the love, hugs and kisses for it will be worth giving to those loved ones we seldom see.
i hope you'll have good times together again and have great pictures to capture,my dear!

..i think everyone experience in their life such feeling..childhood days is very memorable...you are carefree enough to do anything that you want and you don't think of anything but enjoying yourself...although, we can't stay as a child forever but at least, reminiscing the happy memoirs rekindle the youthful side of us..which is indeed a great feeling...

yes,it's nice to be a kid but we get older each day,and we have to face responsibilities in front of us.as we age,we mature and learn how to live on our own life.learn how to struggle in all times to make the right decisions and make the best out of our lives.
we can't just sit and stare or play like a little child anymore.
we have to learn how to live and fulfill our own dreams to make ourselves a better individual.

YEah, time is all so different now, comparing now to the past. All of u had grown up, and the responsibility is there now. UNlike being a child, other than studies, it will be fun.. Children and children will find it easier to play among siblings especially at home because they are being protected.
But as we grow up, we yearn for freedom, and so we start to hang out more instead of staying in the house. BUt no matter what, or how busy one is, they will still go home to rest for the day, as nothing beats a place like home, so comfortable.. hehe

yeah,nothing beats like home.
even if you are working to different countries, you don't feel home when you are there.specially to Filipinos, their hearts is always at their beloved country.
and every time, they step to filipino land, they really can say, they are back to their home.
nothing beats that!

family reunion is the most usual event that we take family picture. i remember the last time my auntie captured us. that was i think at the age of 17 when all of our family members are complete. we are 8 siblings and most of my elder brothers and sisters already migrated to other countries. nice topic you just gave me an idea to tell my mom make a recopy and send one to me..

oh,having other family members in other countries is just too sad.
you can't really have bonding times with that. only in webcams and internet stuff,i can say.but still the feeling is too different when you are really with each other.
when you are in that situation, there's always a need for picture taking when you are all together cause it was not a normal day for you.that's why make the most out of it!

Yes, because of the busy work and study, it's hard to have a family reunion. In my childhood, my family got together in my grandparents' home every year to celebrate the Spring Festival. But it stopped four years ago. My cousin went abroad at that time, and two years ago, my grandparents passed away...
So take family photos, get family together... do not put all the time on working or studying!

When I was young, my cousins sometimes come to stay with us during the school holidays and we had a hey time then. The holidays seem to stretch in front of us and we would weave in and out of the house the whole day long. It's a pity that when we grow up, we do not have such gatherings anymore. We have drifted apart and only see each other once a year.
