is their a program or website to catagorize movies?

Im looking to eather find a free program or free website that will let me catagorize movies ive seen and like if i accidently add a double of the movie it wont put it on my list so i can keep track of just how many movies ive seen so far hope someone knows of something ive been looking for days and found nothing

I don't know of any program that's free, especially if you have a PC, but if you have any kind of database program, you can set up your own file for movie categories. Even a simple list program could be adapted. Anything that lets you search for keywords will work, since all you would have to do is search for the name of the movie you're planning to put in. If you already have it, it will come up in the search.

I've never used Excel, but from what I know about it, yes, it would work. If you don't have it, you can probably find a free database program for the PC. It would be much simpler than Excel, but you don't need all those features, anyway. Try shareware sites. Most shareware can be downloaded for a trial, and some of it can be used free even though the author would appreciate a donation.
