Reservation on jobs on caste in India

If the politicians make reservations on caste or any other basis, I have one thing for them - The politicians must have these people (who pass out and get into jobs via reservations) around them. To put it simply the politicians must employ the services of these people to themselves first. This would not only prove that the candidates are worthy and it would also be something that others would look upto. But I know this is India and the politicians can go for their toothache treatment to some foreign country rather than avail the best in the country... Its not their money that they are spending, it is our money and it is quite unfortunate. The reservations stuff is just Vote Bank Politics and has no real implication other than that.

I'm also against this reservation of jobs on caste in India. In my opinion, reservation should be made, but not on the basis of caste. Instead certain reservation can be done for people in villages, tribes or based on the financial status like that. This will give them an opportunity to come up in life.

dear friend i would like to tell you that plz put this discussion in the India community..,you will get good responses..!! now i want to say about this subject is that india really suffering from this reservation issue..,we are lacking behind due to this..!! i think there should be only one category of reservation and that should be only on financial condition of candidate...!! it will help to improve unity in the India...!!:)

There surely must be reservation based on financial needs, but that can never be a substitute for caste based reservation. Poor people and low caste people go through different forms of struggles snd their remedies should never be confused.
