Have You Ever Re-discovered A Perfume From Your Past?

I did this a few months ago. Now, my MIL wears Obsession perfume and it wasn't a scent I was that interested in. However, about 20 years ago I couldn't get enough of the stuff because it is so long-lasting. In January, armed with my virtual Christmas money I decided to buy a small bottle of Obsession from the wonderful Cheap Smells website. It's really cute and I could carry it around with me if I wanted to but I won't because one spray is enough.
Like I say, it lasts ages on me so is economical too.
Have you ever done this? Re-discovered a scent from the past?
By the way, it smells MILES better on me than on the MIL!
Haha!

Yes, I re-discovered Hombre Rose. I hadn't seen that perfume in about 15-20years. I had forgotten how much I loved it and how good it smelled. I happen to be in a flea market and seen it. It brought back so many memories it was wonderful. I bought it that day. It smells so good!

"Hombre" meaning "man" right? I hope I'm right otherwise this could look embarrassing.
Glad you have found the scent anyway. You're right; sometimes you can end up buying a perfume that you used years ago and as you put it on..the good memories come flooding back.
Welcome to MyLot!

Do you mean Ombre Rose, as in the link?
I guess we have a problem with spelling here my friend.

No I meant Hombre Rose. They also make Ombre Rose. I think they changed the name or it's suppose to be another kind, I'm not sure but the one I use to buy about 15 or 20 years aago was called Hombre Rose. It came in a black, thin, and kinda long bottle. It smell a little like the Ombre Rose just better. I actually saw online one time and they wanted like $85 for it. I thought they were crazy cuz It use to cost about $30 back in the day.

That's a shame. Actually, I have to be careful with Obsession because it's a nice perfume but strong so a little goes a long way. I have had perfumes such as Miracle by Lancome in the past that have given me headaches, so I steer clear of those! What perfume does your roomie have?
