Since I've watched WWE over the last couple of years(I don't watch that often) it seems like they are running out of popular gimmicks. No WWE Wrestler of this generation really catches my attention all that well. Should they bring back something similar to the WWE Attitude Era in order to expand their options of creativity? I miss the Attitude Era of WWE. I will say since WWE has brought in the NXT group of wrestlers that its the best thing WWE has done in a while. Still any of the NXT wrestlers gimmicks haven't been around long enough to really take notice of them separately.

I miss the Attitude era as well especially the time when DX are pretty funny. I agree also with what you said regarding the NXT. They all suck. None of the wrestlers there are entertaining at all. I also do not like the fact that they are giving the main storyline to Sheamus because I have seen better heels than that guy. Why cant they surround the storyline around Edge or Jericho? They are heels but least the latter two are entertaining.

I guess so. The storyboard writers are going too soft. And its becoming repetitive. But as if its affecting any of it. The viewership may be going down but the bank roll is still high for the WWE!

i think when the undertaker retires things will get worse for wwe. i would think he would end his career by at least losing his last match at wrestlemania. i say he will at least want to put someone over. i heard hes interested in losing to kane but kane doesn't even want to it because of his legacy.

I remember all of the storylines vividly from ten years ago or even five years ago. Now, there are times where I forget who the WWE Champion is every now and again. Back in the day, you'd know Stone Cold Steve Austin is the champion or the Rock or Triple H or the Undertaker or whoever. Now the champion is...Sheamus. I actually had to think for a bout a minute.
Back in the day, I remembered everyone from the top of the card all the way to the tip top bottom. For instance, the Mean Street Posse are remembered by me to this day. I doubt ten years ago, I will be bringing up Zack Ryder's name for instance. The presentation is bad. Even those at the bottom of the card, you remembered them. Oddly enough, the best talent and characters are the one's who have been around for years, like Undertaker or Rey. PG is some of the problem, but the fact that all of these Hollywood writers, who barely know anything about wrestling.
There was a lot that was wrong about the Attitude area. It was too mish mash and crazy, but there was something about it made it rather memorable. The Attitude Era might not work these days however, but I think they should take certain concepts from it, like creating memorable characters.

I heard that this year at Wrestlemania might be it for the Undertaker. So we're just going to have to wait and see. I think he got a quite a few more years out of a body that is breaking down. Then again, age and injuries will do that to you and as the saying goes in wrestling, the road will own you.

i think so plus the popular wrestlers are getting old too. there's no good storyline or good rivalry like before. haven't been watching it since eddie guerrero. i love WWE way back when they still have hulk hogan, ultimate warrior and the like.. lately, there's no good wrestler on there...
