Do you Belong to a Craft Guild?

I was looking through one of my cross stitch magazines and I noticed an Ad for the Embroiderer's Guild of America. I was actually thinking about joining since I am getting pretty serious about my cross stitching (which falls under the category of counted embroidery). It seems like a good thing to belong to and if there is a local chapter a good way to meet others that do my craft as well as learn new techniques. Have you ever thought of joining a guild or do you belong to a guild. If so which one and how do you like it?

I enjoy crochet very much , but I do not have time to crochet , I belong to a network where we share ideas, do projects together, etc. and I just made a blog where I collected some patterns and new ideas from the web and many of my friend are enjoying them , sorry I could not post the link here :(

I belong to a stamping club where we exchange cards for new ideas and each of us takes a turn giving a lesson on different techniques for stamping. The next meeting I am teaching how to use a brayer and a card called reflections where you double stamp on your card.
