Today is the D-Day for the transfer market as the cutoff date. And till now Arsene Wenger has not made a move for the goalkeeper. The irony is that Tottenham has just signed on a goalkeeper Petikosa which means they have three goalkeepers better than Arsenal's goalkeepers!!
Cheers!

it is too late for them to look for the new goalkeeper right now.
they should sign new goalkeeper since last season.
so many blunder made by Arsenal goalie.
i think almunia is not good enough.
if we see on Arsenal competitor, MU has Edwin Van Der Saar, Chelsea has Peter Cech, Liverpool has Reina, and City has a new talented goalie Joe Hart.
i think arsenal should sign Hugo Lloris, as we know Arsene Wenger always buy players from his country, France.

I was not aware Arsenal had made an offer for Shay Given. Actually Wenger had said he would not bid for him. But I absolutely agree with you that they do need a goal keeper. I think ultimately it might be Schwarzer who will make it to Arsenal. I also just heard that Wenger is looking as Asmir Begovic as another option for the goal keeper's spot.
Cheers!

Everyone knows Arsenal is looking to reinforce that department and they are willing to play the hardball game with Arsenal. You can the selling clubs thou. Arsenal has left it too late to start making enquiries. The season has starting and no clubs would want to re-jig their team now.

I think Wenger should stick to Almunia. Though he is not as good as David Seaman, I still think he is one of the top keeper in Premier League. If Wenger is looking for a backup for Almunia (Fabianski doesn't seems to have a reliable pair of hand), I would suggest Steve Harper from Newcastle.

I think its a bit late to wake up now in the 3rd week of the season to realize you need a keeper. What about all their reserve keepers? Its one thing I have noticed clubs don't have a priority is the purchase of keepers, I feel its a major problem.
