madrid only draw but Barca win 3-0 / myLot

the competition began between barcelona and madrid in this weeks. but madrid is unclucky, they only draw with mallorca and Barcelona get three points after win 3-0 against santander by messi, villa and andres iniesta. how do you opinion about this results? thanks

Barca was lucky to face Racing Santander in their opening, while Madrid had to face Mallorca, who's 5th on 09/10 standings. Last season, Barca can only defeat Mallorca 1-0 in Nou camp. Besides, Madrid just try their new formation with a new coach, so they need to adapt more. In 1-2 months, they will be stronger

What I think is different from what I expected. I think Barca will beat Madrid, although I really hope Madrid can make a miracle and beat them.

I don't think Mourinho can create miracle and bring instant glory to Real Madrid. Barcelona is already well established with genius player like Messi and Villa and also have a good coach so I don't really see Madrid winning the La Liga this season. Mourinho will need at least 2 season to build up the squad to challenge for Champions League glory. The first round result is already an obvious indication that Barcelona will again thump Madrid for the La Liga crown.

The Special One already said he will need 2 season for Madrid to start winning trophy and I am thinking to accomplish that is going to be really really hard. Lightning won't strike THRICE and mou is unlikely to claim another treble after the success with FC Porto and Inter Milan. Perphaps Madrid will win trophy but not all 3 in one season.

I think Mourinho is off to a slow start with Real Madrid with this draw. But I would not read too much into the first 3-4 rounds as the team and Mourinho would be getting to know each other. I would rather start to look Mourinho's performance close to the Christmas season to see how things are panning out. Cheers! Ram

Do not read too much into it. While it is always good to start the season with a win, a draw is not too bad a result to start with.
