I think it's smart if we all have a passive income, which means that we earn each month without all that work. Compared to employees who work 9 to 5, when we have a passive income we just receive money on a monthly basis with little or no work at all. Sounds great isn't it? Here are some examples of earning through passive income. 1. Real Estate, like apartment rentals. 2. Bonds. 3. Vending Machine, like gum balls or candies. 4. Being a Franchiser 5. Ebay Selling. I was surprised by the last one, having a passive income by selling through Ebay??? 
Well, come to think of it you just post items there, and do deliveries like every week. Mmm, less work and more money... Any other passive income opportunities you can think of?

its seems you wrote all the passive income already... but for me, i would add in my number 1 list is a business... if you have a great system, it will give you the most returns in terms of passive income. The system includes, inventory system, purchasing system, audit system etc.

Well, if you have the cash to start with, I would say that one of the best ways to gain a passive income over the course of time is to invest in the stock market. Of course, you really wouldn't want to have all of your money in one particular stock, you would want to have it invested in an index account so that it won't hurt you nearly as badly if one stock was to tank than it would hurt you if you were to put all of your eggs in one basket so to speak.

I think real estate is by far the best one out of these, and I have been considering vending machines, too, to be honest, haha! Also licenses and copyrighted material is a passive income. Like all those article sites out there, write articles for them now, and make money on that for a long time, even if you stop writing. I am currently doing that at Triond, and I also plan to try some more sites like it.

You can also get a passive income by investing I use one site where an initial investment of $300 gives me a passive income of $100 a month so after 3 months its all profit and if you decide to quit you can get your initial $300 investment returned, it does not have to be $300 you can invest more or the minimum is $50 but to be honest its best to invest at least $200. I also have various other site which are free to earn but the amount is peanuts compared to that one, but every little helps.
