This can be offline or online...what would it be? My perfect offline business would definitely be a post office because no matter how tech savvy the world gets, everyone sends at least 1 thing a year so I know a post office would never go out of business.
I did have my own ebay business which I had to shut down when I moved 2 years ago & i am only just trying to get that set uo again but anyone who works with ebay & any other online auction website knows that this can be a long hit & miss process but I am trying...I also have my own ptc website which is a hobby & I also do the usual ptc, mylot & survey sites...
I am looking to start my own business online...maybe even offline & need ideas...this is the reason why I am asking what sort of business would you own in the hope that it gives me some ideas...
I am looking forward to seeing what you have to say.

I used to think about starting up a restaurant, but after nearly a decade in that industry, I think I may have changed my mind.
A friend of mine is planning on starting an "airsoft" arena in or near this town, and if he does that I think that I will help him out, with the accounting part of it.
As you know I am a part time network marketer, I really enjoy that, what with the awesome products and the chance to help others make some extra cash.
I think ideally though, I would like to be some kind of independent consultant, learn something really well, get very successful at it, then teach others how to do the same, I might even do with MLM, I am at the learning and starting to be successful stage, not the consulting stage though.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.

I have been a waitress for 9 months & I don't think I'd like to own my own restaurant either...I hope you do achieve what you want to achieve with network marketing & being able to teach people.

For me, an ideal business is somehow related with the basic needs. A restaurant, catering services, a learning center or daycare center, and garment. If I would be given a chance to run my own business, I would choose to have a garment house which i would be the one make dress designing. But a small restaurant will also do, for it is usually less capital than garment house. Well, that would be my choices. I believe that if you gonna put up a business, make sure that your interest is in it to success.

I have been thinking about this lately and I wish to own an online business soon. My interest changes rather quickly. At this point in time, I would like to be in the business of wall decals.

I have always wanted to own a coffee shop
I would probably not get rich with this but I think when I have one, it would be an indication that I am already comfortable in life. I like a place people go to because of good coffee and good food, where they could be comfortable too.
Have a nice day!

Hi! If given the chance to have my own business, I would like to have my own bakeshop and coffee shop. It has always been my dream ever since I was young to be a good baker of cakes and pastries and have my very own bakeshop. When the coffee shop trend came, I began to like going to coffee shops with my family and friends for bonding and get together and it has become one of my wish to have my own cozy coffee shop. Well, I really hope and pray this wish will come true someday... :)

I would say a seamstress, but this would only be a past time more then a business because I don't think very many people need seamstresses anymore, and those who do are professionals themselves so I would think it'd be more of a job then a home business.

You never know, I know there are alot of people out there who still get their wedding dresses hand made & also bridesmaids dresses - I have 3 bridesmaids dresses that were made specifically to my measurements by a seamstress....so you could speacialise in that area too.

I have wanted to own a sweet shop for as long as I could remember. There are always shops for sale in my town, and I have wanted to buy one, but I guess I will have to have some other kind of career before I even think about that.
I need to earn a good deal of money before I can even think about running my own business.
My first step would be to save up money so that I can own my own house first, then I would think about owning my own business.

If I owned an online business I would host a website which enables graphic and web designers and companies from all around the world to post their corporate and professional needs such as logo designing, web designing, stationary & print etc.
If I had an offline business, I'd love to run a huge hi-tech gaming parlor for the young. Games are becoming a popular source of entertainment. And I'd love to capitalize on that!

These are great ideas & I don't think you would be short of a dollar either...selling Christian stuff is really popular, I have sold alot of Christian stuff on Ebay & made nice profits from my mothers unwanted stuff from when she passed away.

I would love to have a fashion boutique or a vintage clothing boutique since I am really into fashion. But anything else that is fashion related would work too. And I wouldn't mind owning a book store either!

All of those ideas are great & as long as you got people into your store, I don't think you would be short of a dollar because we are always going to need clothes & books.

I am a very creative person and i have a dream of owing a business and it would be the seasonal decorator. I used to have a business in my hometown a few years back. we used to provide decorations for the social parties like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc. Its a small investment with huge returns.

I actually will be owning a business one day soon.. It's in African and it's going to be a beauty salon.
If I was to open a business here which I plan to one day, it would be a beauty supplies store, located in a mall. I would put it in a mall because people would walk by, see it, then come and check it out. Plus girls are always needing beauty supplies. Hair stuff, makeup, etc, my store would sell it all.

Definitely a popular business, you would never be broke with a beauty business of any sort.
