This are turbulent times between the two countries, people from hongkong are mad, while people here are feeling sorry but also has to protect the Nation from unfair biases.. when will this ever end? will the respect between two countries be ever restored?

I totally understand why Hong Kong and China feel so bad about the incident that happened a week ago. Of course they were also in pain cause there were really a lot of mistakes in handling the situation. I feel ashamed of what happened but there's nothing that we can do about it. Even if we are all going to be sad, it has happened already and all we can do now is repair.

I know they feel bad, bad they should have never badmouthed our country nor its people.. its quiet unfair, all these years, many of their citizens have been mistreating our DH, but never did we bad mouthed them nor insult any of their citizens. too bad..

Nothing to be ashamed of what had transpired of the incident. Nobody wanted that of course to happen, even the cops wouldn't want their names to be tainted i guess. It already happened, we saw how incompetent they are, we can say all we want at them and judge them for what have happened. Not Filipinos are like that so there's really no reason to be ashamed. But what about the Filipinos who are victims as well in HK for not being treated fairly. Can't believe they think like that... we are being judged as a whole because of that incident, who else is going ti defend us if we think that way..

What happened during the tragic end of hostage taking resulted to a strain relationship between Hongkong and the Philippines. The incident is still fresh, so we cannot blame HongKong nationals to be revengeful and mad with the Filipinos. However, I believe not all the Chinese people are revengeful with what happened. Some are still open minded. Thus, I believe that the strained relationship will be over when the wounds are healed. Let time pass by.

we all see this coming that day.. especially when it has ended so terribly. hope that in the right time we and Hong Kong will finally start over again... not necessarily forget about what has happened, but actually start living a new life. what has transpired over there was not really what everyone has wanted - nobody meant for that to happen... it was due to poor strategy, non-quick thinking but whatever it is that has failed that time, i believe the country has learned and is currently doing something about it... I hope HK finds in their heart to forgive and to be willing to re build what has been lost.

Perhaps if there's any opportunity to save the lives of HK nationals in other situations, we must act well ... What do you think?

Its a possibility but still a bit not possible for the moment.. Hongkong people would not come near our country for quite some time and events like that is really not frequent.. but i really do hope things would patch up, the sooner the better.. just imagine the suffering Filipino domestic helpers would have to endure..
