Can all of you please tell about your first email experience? I remember when I had a dial-up network for internet and my network provider provided 5MB space free! It was great to see my first email from a friend who had moved to the US relating his studies and activities. So freshen up your memories and let us all hear what great things you have to say about your initial emailing...

Well when i started using computers, i thought email is bigger thing and i was shy to ask any one. Later, my friend thought me and i was eager to compose, read mails..it was a nice one!

I remember installing my first modem myself (I had never seen the inside of a computer before and prayed it would work/I wouldn't break anything). It was a Commodore 64 computer.
I used it to log into telnet to check the library computer and place a book on hold and to play a few text games like MUDD but the monitor broke within 4 months and we couldn't afford a new one so I didn't get around to getting an e-mail back then.
My first e-mail was issued to me by the University but I never used it. I got my first yahoo account while sitting in a University computer lab for family purposes an my first email in it was a happy birthday. My next three e-mails were military issued. I got a hotmail and stopped using the yahoo because of spam but I disliked hotmail and didn't use it much. I re-activated my yahoo after 5 years though so I still have it and I created another one for fandom purposes. I also have a dozen or so role playing e-mails for chat purposes.
