Grant writing

HI! I want to freelance as a grant writer. Right now I write grants for a non-profit organization and I think many non-profits would love to have grants written but can't fund a position just to write grants.(I am also the volunteer coordinator.) Any suggestions? Organizations want to pay grant writers out of the grant funds and that is not a good way to operate. There are may reasons organizations and projects do not get funded.
