Hi, There are two reasons for which a certain thing appears too shallow to us. First, the thing may be shallow indeed. Secondly, we are not giving enough attention. I think, everything depends on your interpretation. If you can find depth even in the shallowest things then you are a genius. Life doesn't become amusing and entertaining all by itself. It is our interpretation of life that changes it in different ways. Things never change, so we change our outlook to suit our own purpose. Thanks. God bless you

lol buddy. That's why we call wavelength matching. If you are myopic you have to use convex lens. If you wanna see some depth in shallow things use concave lens. If you can't modify the 'things' then just adjust your glass.

Or your brain is shallow enough to understand the depth of the "shallow things" in question!!!

i think it's normal for person who suffers from depression to feel that way...actually sometimes, i don't even have a reason or cause to feel blue...the feeling just comes on its own. but after years of suffering from it, i've learned ways to control and manage it.... the technique there is to avoid the things that trigger it... and KNOW yourself more. find out what keeps you happily occupied or happily distracted. find out what helps you boost your self esteem and energy.... then you'll know just what to do, everytime depression starts to kick in

dear domenic1989, i guess it is ok to be upset for a while but to be depressed over it is not good. you just have to think more positively and let the course of the situation heal itself. welcome to mylot. ann
