Hello friends,
I remember a friend of mine told me that these days all sports are run by money & politics & not by the sportsmen.
What he meant was for Cricket and Cricketers that the matches are mostly fixed and they are playing with the emotions of common people like you and me.
I had every doubt in my mind that time for what he said, but sadly I have started to believe that he wasn't incorrect totally.
And it doesn't stop with Cricket only. I believe the main problem with sports today is we 'the fans' have made sportsmen bigger than the sport and hence the repercussion.
To represent your country, to do something for your nation is not a mean achievement at all and I have no sympathy for sports man who let their country and their fans down by taking drugs or taking bribe to under perform.
Its time we start punishing the wrong doers and make an example for the next generation or else I’m afraid we wont get the passion or the excitement, which is so closely associated with cricket.
So friends lets talk on how we can make this glorious sport better and corruption free? Think as if it was in your hands and what changes u would like to make ?
Cheers,
Tutul

In the current scenario where every sport is played for money much often but for the game, I think the best way to stop corruption is to stop playing the game itself. This way the corruption is gone. Because as long as a game stays and is being played, there would be people who would be eager to make money rather than play the game for the sake of the game.
Cutting down the salaries or paying high salaries or stopping using the products that the players endorse anything will only add to the fuel and make them more corrupt
