How often and why do you call God?

when i got in a critical situation and when i am totaly gone on a position when i an not able to do any thing which is very nessary to me . tje i call GOD to help me and take up me from that situation . every person want to be a dream person what he/she whad dream but the name of god give us that much strength to overcome.

I talk to him everyday. I do it because I want to hear him, and I need peace in my heart for that to happen. :) Only then can I know what my route in life is.

Herro yoursjannat I know you said that your question was not for devotees of God and I am, however I noticed that most responses were from people who believed in God. I walk, talk and listen to God in good times and bad times. I thank Him for rescuing me from traffic, for helping me find something I've lost, for strength, for peace. I call on Him in need. He has performed at least one miracle, medically documented and acknowledged by my doctor a few years back. I have a peace regarding highly emotionally situations in my life. How do I know? Because I feel the peace. I feel at peace emotionally, especially when I turn a situation over to Him. If you have any other questions, please ask. God bless you Proserous mylotting

I don't call much because I think, it will cost more than ISD.

I always give thanks to God for all the blessings that I have. I also pray for my love ones. I pray everyday for peace of mind.

Hi yoursjannat, it's normal that we would call God more frequently if we come across any problem which is really tough to resolve. I find after calling God my mind would become tranquil. I could think deeply in the peaceful situation the problem facing thoroughly. I would call God and ask safety for my loved ones before he or she leaving for a long distant destination like going abroad. I would feel rather easy after the making the call. I would thank God for sure after I have received the safe and sound message. I say prayer sincerely right before bedtime every night. I believe the mighty God will here us Happy posting

There is a good point embedded in your question. I believe to practice faith, any faith, should be a daily activity, your life should be immersed in it. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense to me. I had some phases in my life where I was very religious, but then I practiced it, or at least tried to practice my faith, on a daily basis. I don't do that anymore. Therefore I would find it hipocritical of me to call on God or any other higher power only when I would need him/her.
