"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
It is so easy to get caught up with the daily stresses of life. On any given day I have so many things running through my mind, I worry myself sick. It's too easy to forget that we are blessed enough to have someone who is willing and wanting to take those burdens off our shoulders. It sounds so easy but it is hard to let go of the control. We need to get the thinking out of our heads that we have control in the fist place. Please take some time today to give your worries to Jesus. I know this is a struggle for me personally but today is a new day and I am going to try my best. Life would be so much easier if I didnt worry the way I do, and the beautiful thing is that Jesus has given me a way, I just need to act on it!

Worrying is something normal and some times it is even beneficial. In worrying you feel a sense o anxiety. Worrying motivates you to go ahead even with greater force. Worry should not turn into fear, because then it would distract you from important matters. I might even inhibit your action or your problem solving ability. While you worry you will not be able to concentrate on the tasks ahead. So, do not allow worries to turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It is a good thing to place your faith in Jesus Christ and trust him to take care of your worries. It would help to save you from the negative outcomes worries create.

I beleive this is Jesus' solution for our inablity to worry, although like everyone else there are days I find it difficult to cast those cares His way. On those days I try to remind myself of other Scriptures such as Matthew 6:34 "do not be anxious about tomorrow today has enough of its own problems" (my paraphrase). These two Scriputres and many others help me to remember it is OK to be concerned aobut life and all that comes our way, but life and its circumstances do not control us unless we let them. God is always, always ultimately in control. This knowledge does not always ease my headache, but it always comforts my spirit. Today was a day I needed to cast some cares His way, thanks for the reminder through His word.

Herro soldierswifee
Welcome to mylot. May you have the exciting, educational experience I am having at mylot.
I had forgotten that verse. I use "the peace that passeth all understanding". Don't remember the address. I walk every morning for health. I have learned to pray as I am walking. I pray for each house, occupants if I know them. I also pray for strength and thank Him for the peace He has given me to deal with every day life. With that prayer each morning, my day has gotten more peaceful. I appreciate you taking the time to post this reference.
God bless you
Prosperous mylotting
P.S. Are you married to a military person?

Worry, fear, doubt are all things we've had to deal with sometime in our lives, but I'm learning that these feelings are exactly what Satan is trying to get us to feel so we'll lose our trust in God. That's why it's so important to renew your mind daily by reading God's word so your life will line up with His word. Also, when we're tempted to worry, fear or doubt, we need to speak the word of truth to those feelings, just like Jesus did when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness. Faith in God drives Satan away, but worry, fear and doubt gives him access to us. Remember what it says, I think in James, "resist the devil and he will flee from you."
