Gmail free phone calls, Compared to skype pay phone

I think Gmail has a really good thing going on with its free calls, And skype should have done the same instead of charging a small rate. But what I do know, is that its gonna bring Skypes phone service business down at least a few % thanks to the new Gmail Phone service. Btw what do you think of the new Gmail phone service, I think its flawless for making prank calls, and never having to pay a dime.

I have both Gmail Phone, and Skype, and I agree - Skype is going to lose customers.

gmail to gmail user free call is great. nw they come new other phone lines call also with cheaper rate.It is appreciatable. but their sound quality is very very poor when we that with skype to skype or skype to other phonelines.I experienced these problems when i hv net to phone call using my E71 by 3g SIM in 3G avaible.. they have to improve this..
