There are a lot of changes now a days... most especially in the city... There are a lot of tall buildings with different structures and designs, establishments and amusements that most people now a days prefers to stay and live in urban areas.. and at the same time there are lot of job opportunities for every one... On the other hand there are still people who prefer living in rural areas... They are those people who want's simple living and are away from pollution both air and noise... I myself loves to stay in rural areas because i really love the nature it really refreshes and calms me all the time... How bout you.. which do you belong? are you an urban or a rural dude?

It seems to me that most younger people tend to thrive in the cities, where they have lots of entertainment choices and things to do, close to work, close to their friends. I think the majority of older people prefer the calmness of more rural areas rather than the hustle and bustle of the cities.
I, myself, live in a small city...very small, and I would love nothing more than to find a house in a more rural area.

I lived in a more suburban area for most of my life. The last 5 years or so I have now lived in a more rural area. At first it was hard for this city girl to enjoy the slower pace, but now I love it. The sky is more blue, can see the stars at night. I do not hear any traffic ever. The most noise is just people mowing their lawns. The other thing I like about living in the "country" is that people seem to be a lot nicer.

i wanna live in the city when i'm young and live in the rural areas when i get older or retire from my work. Coz living in the city provides a lot of opportunity for me and can keep up with the modern society. When i get older and just wanna enjoy my life, i would like to go to rural places to spend my time there.

Here in our country all the opprtunities are centralized in urban areas. There is hardly anything one educated person can do in rural areas unles one is employed in government or public sector. That is the reason I am in city, otherwise I would prefer living in rural place provide it should have minimum amenities. At the same time I like to mention that urban areas have their pluses also.

I was born and raised in the city area. I am quite accustomed to the city life and have been working in the city. But I surely would want to have a property in the rural area. Perhaps when the time comes when I am retiring, that would be the time that I will perhaps fulfill my dream. I love nature, I love the sound of birds, the sound of water flowing, the sound of the sea as it rushes to the shore... Its peaceful and quite. Unlike in the city where you hear a lot of noise. But considering that present work, then I will just have to live with that as of now.

I had experienced to live both in urban and rural area. In my experience, if you are the type of an outgoing person, you must have enjoyed the life in the city. I also proven that yes, opportunities in city is endless, if you're not the choosy oone.
When I was in a rural areas, I found it boring there. More of jobs especially for a low income level are mostly agriculture related, but undoubtedly will enjoy the clean and fresh air, enjoy the fresh food. Food actually would not a problem, you can have your own garden for vegetables and fruits. All these can be also an exercise for our body.
Having experienced both, I realized that living in rural area is better for me. Less pollution, less temptation to vices, and will sure to have a healthy living. But I'm referring to the real rural area, because there are rural areas that has turned to city nowadays brought about by new technologies.

I would prefer to be in urban place because there are all the facilities like proper transport, communication systems etc, however there are some disadvantages of living in urban areas like pollution, population, but it's ok. Urban places are much better.

I would like to live in the country side. Looking at tall buildings and having different things around you is also a good thing but living in the countryside for me is much more peaceful. I after of the peace rather than the fun we can have at malls, bars and other places.

I live in urban areas. Actually, I think it's pretty much of a tradeoff either living in urban or rural areas. While you may enjoy the natural scenery, quietness and simplicity of life in rural areas, it may not be convenient to get to the basic facilities such as hospitals, markets, schools, etc. For most rural areas, electricity, water supplies and even wireless network may pose problems as well. Therefore, I think it's better to be living permanently in urban areas while having vacations to rural areas to get away from hectic city life.

I absolutely love living in an urban area. I don't care about the pollution, traffic, overpopulation, not even crime... I just like the promise of excitement everyday. In an urban area, there are so many places to visit and explore - there is always something new happening! I also like the convenience of living in a city. Wi-fi, proper cellphone signal, gas stations, convenience stores - all of these matter to me somewhat. Most importantly, I like that I have ready choices in a city. (Instant gratification, anyone?) If I live in a city, I will never be stuck hoping for Italian food on some hill in the middle of nowhere. Unless I'm in Italy, of course.
I realize that living in a city can be overwhelming, tiring, and full of clutter. But I like that. I'm sure, as I grow older, I will slowly want to live in a rural area. I think I'll just be too tired of the city.
