hi to all
well, i read Islamic & other religious histories, & I found there is no gf in this time, guys can you Clarify why??? Why this time peoples have GF or so, its taboo to have a gf these time??? if these time its bad, why not its bad in current era???
In our family & traditions its very very very bad if you have GF, you have to do marry with one girl, & then your all desires connected with her, anything else is wrong & taboo you agree with my family views???

in the old days, marriages were arranged - often in the west, but almost always in the east, and Islam is an Eastern religion as is Christianity, but that's another story...
so, when a boy and girl were old enough, they were married, often to someone they had never met.

When man is young they have very high flying thoughts and so they think that we can do whatever we want and so they keep making friendship with new and new girl friends....and some selfish girls also revolve round boys ...some for money and some for physical pleasure.....but when life comes near end...man also realizes that the true companion is his wife only...rest all are temporary only....and girls...when they become women...are busy with their lives and children and other responsibilities....so they too dont have time for extra marital relationships and activities....life demands other important things from them, then just making friendship....even their same gender friendship can't be carried further....

The main difference that comes into play here is that in the old days, marriages weren't really born out of love like they are today, instead, marriages were arranged for individuals and sometimes these arranged marriages were planned from the time that an individual was born. In most of today's society, this is a tradition that has fallen by the wayside and people are now allowed to choose who they want to spend the rest of their lives with by themselves which means that there are girlfriends as they aren't permanent.
