Well, you're parents are the one who pays the bills as in "ALL BILLS".

I don't quite understand the question. Are you saying that the mom's parents would be supporting both her and her child? Absolutely not! A single mother needs to find a way to support herself and her child and shouldn't rely on her parents. Yes, it will be hard, but it was her choice to become a mother, so she should take responsibility for herself and not pass it on to her parents. Also, where is the child's father? I don't know how it is in other countries but in the US a child's father, whether he remains with the mother or not, has a financial responsibility to help support that child.

They are not married.
In some country, there's no financial responsibility for the father's side specially if they are not married.
The mom's parents supports both of them.
The single mom's mother prefers her to stay at home and be a full-time mom so she can watch over her child.

If the parents can afford to pay for ALL THE BILLS and there is no one to take care of the child, it might be a good idea to work at home.
