cyber bullies

Well, I'm slow to anger, I really am, but I blocked somebody's butt over on Facebook after leaving a few choice words on her profile. This person said some rather nasty things to a friend who is in mourning. First of all, I don't believe any of what she said was true. But even if I did, why the heck would you go over and attack a person who just lost somebody that they loved? Some people apparently just like to kick a person when they are down. That's what a bully is, right? Bye bye bully!

Yeah lots of low IQ, zero moral people seem to get kicks from saying nasty things about others on the web. Good thing we can just block or ignore them and they're gone.. they themselves have to live with their god-awful personalities for the rest of their lives :)

That's exactly the way I see it. They have to live with themselves and we all know, by the way they act, exactly what kind of person they are. They can't possibly be happy. All I can say to them is goodbye and have a miserable life.

I hate people like that. Think they can get to you just because they sit behind a screen.

hi dawn oh that is so disgusting. But there are people who for some sick reason have to hurt someone who is already down and cannot fight back. they used the screen to pick on someone as they are too cowardly to have met her face to face and said their nasty words.Glad you blocked them so far on Facebook I have not had anyone being mean to me, just a lot of mylotters who asked to be my friend. really nice.

I blocked her on Yuwie too. She must've forgotten she sent me a friend request there, so I accepted it, checked out her profile (private) to see if she was saying anything nasty there, then blocked her. :D

I hate facebook sweetie. But i have to have an account for work. I don't interact with people as i really do not even understand most of the languages. I actually use them to put it so bluntly. Dawny, tomorrow i am going to have some fun there, though.

Thinking of bullies I recall back to elementary school days. Apparently some people just do not grow up. Why on earth would anyone say anything nasty to person in mourning. Something I never forget is that if I do not have something nice or substance I just do not say anything at all. Obviously bullies are just plain dumb and or stupid.

A person who feels compelled to be a bully is missing something somewhere. Add to it the lack of compassion for a personal loss and you can see why some people think society is completely falling apart.

For sure! Sometimes I just can't figure people out.....I have a gal that is a friend of mine from stamping club. Well we meet at a scrapbook store for our meetings. Last fall a friend of mine had to close her scrapbook store because one thing after another happened with her family....she is reopening this fall and has a page on facebook. Of course I am a fan of hers....well this other gal messages me that I have to buy my stamping/scrapping supplies from the gal who owns the store where we meet....she has also become a bully.....you don't tell someone where to shop....and besides my friend is the one opening the new store!! The bully gal has just about torn apart out stamping club as she feels everything shoue go her way...it used to be fun and now she's turning it into a chore to attend!

This was very mean of this person to do that! This person is in mourning. They don't need someone to make them feel any worse than they already feel. If people feel like they don't have anything to say that is pleasant to another person. They should not say it at all. They should save their nasty comments to themselves. Many people just don't have any pity over other people that have lost a loved one. This is not the time and place to spit harsh words out! How would they feel if someone did the same thing to them too?

Bullying is real and really bad in some schools! Especially some high schools! It has gootan so bad for some kids they drop out of school to be home schooled only to be cyber bullied! It is a sick and disturbing trend! I felt I was being cyber bullied on Mylot from a member who would not leave me alone! I asked to be left alone! It didn't happen! I reported this person but they are still here! Luckliy I finally was left alone and have been like 6 months! If it happens again I will report the person! I will not put up with that crap!

You right my friend... People should not attack any person that lost someone they loved. If were going to give out our opinion to others. We must think what the word we write to prevent anything bad harm to someone else... Have a great day!

You had a rotten tomato for a friend good thing you got rid of it before it infected your other friends. I don't like bullies because they are either stupid or gay(not referring to the gay community here or elsewhere this is a different kind of gay, bad gay) I pray for your mourning friend and I hope she did the same thing as you did

There is never any reason to be mean. Can't understand why people can't hold their thoughts and back away from nasty comments. Someone in mourining doesn't deserve to be bashed. You're a good friend to stand up for your friend. My opinion is whenever someone is mean and nasty, they aren't happy with their own lives. No point in taking it out on someone else.

Hi ya dawny Aww that is just horrid. Where do some people get off? Thankfully I have never experienced such a thing but then I deleted my account on Facebook for various reasons. A friend on mine's son has an account yet he is only just 9 but I won't let my son who is the same age The reason is that I have another friend who's daughter is 12 and she has been bullied terribly on Facebook and by so called school friends. I don't want to open my son to such things there is enough of it going on in the playground without bringing it into the home!

My 13 year old daughter is on FB, but other than 2 good friends from school, the only people she's added have been family members. If something does happen, we'll deal with it, but I hope it doesn't.

I have discovered that there are a lot of really rude and mean people on these kind of sites. I often wonder if they are as bold and mean in person as they are on the internet. I don't know if they feel they can be mean because there is some anonymity. I always try to be nice and respectful to people, whether in person or online. I used to feel bad about de-friending rude people, but now I don't worry about it. I figure they don't deserve to know somebody like me if they want to treat people so badly!

That is exactly what a bully is and unfortunately tere have been times that I have come across them in my life. I don't like having to deal with a bully of any sort, but it seems like people that tend to bully do have an easier time doing it online than offline because it is easy to type whatever you want and hit submit on the computer while it is a lot more difficult to stand in front of a person and confront them with mean and hurtful words.
