Eating habits and Watchin TV

Long ago I read that there is a connection between the material you watch on TV and the preference of food. This is I think is what we prefer to eat during TV watching only. I felt we tend to rush our eating while watching action sequences and be moderate when music of any kind is on air. Did any of you felt so(or something similar)?

I like to eat while watching television, I like to enjoy popcorn while watching a good movie or my favorite shows!!!!!

I enjoy watching while eating, I don't want to miss what I'm watching that is why I bring my food.

When i was a child my eating habits were simple. You ate in the kitchen or dining room. TV watching was an activity shared in the livingroom either alone or with family members. Now that i am older, i seem to combine my eating habits with my TV watching. My family seems to spend less time at the kitchen table or more time in front of the television. i guess we all have our happy places to eat.
