Do you take notice of your friends?

Yes I always look at my friends discussions first and usually reply to those that I can and are interesting to me. I totally agree that you should not add friends and not even try to respond to their posts, but the more friends the more variety of posts you get.

I wish i had the time to respond to all my friends discussions, sweetie. But not only for the time, some discussions i really do not know how to answer to. And to say yes, no, maybe or i don't think so, is so freaking rude. TATA.

I have to agree. I first go to my discussion tab to see if anyone responded to one of my discussions. Then I go look at the discussions by my friends. Like you said, not every discussion by my friends is appropriate to respond to. Then I look at discussions from my interests. Before I even accept a friend request, I look to see what kind of discussions that person has posted. Why clutter up my friend feed if we don't have anything in common?

I get really lost amongst my freinds discussions, so I barely get a chance to make new friends. :) I too am not able to respond to everything. But I give myself some concessions. I tell myself I am no god, I am just an ordinary mortal, who cant squeeze in more than this in a day. :)

I track friend's discussions through the notifications I get. It is often there that I decide if I want to respond to it or not. And I have an idea which friends raise interesting discussions, and which I should generally avoid. For those that keep raising discussions that I don't think is worth my time, I will just have to turn off their notifications.

I get all of my friends notifications in my inbox, so yes I definitely take notice. I get every single one of their discussions. I can't reply to them all because I don't always have anything to add that is relevant, but I certainly read every single one. I have all of my mylot friends notifications on.

hi gemmaR yes I really do try, but as I have 800 some its hard to get to all of them, but I really do check and am on here most days all day but today have been ill so am behind. I think its only fair to respond to as many of mylot friends as I can because they do really respond to my own discussions. I do leave some out if its a topic in which I cannot make an intelligent response otherwise I do respond t o all of my friends.Gemma I really do try to get to most all of them but cannot repley to subjects like cricket or other sports that I know nothing about. lol lol.

I try to answer at least most of my friends' discussions. Some days I get backed up though, and then I end up deleting too many of them. ButI try...

I always try to keep my mylot friends in mine as i post. I try to always participate in discussions of my mylot friends. I would hope they would do the same for me. Particiapation with each other is what makes this site worthwhile.

I have some friends in mylot but I never notice of them because their interests on other's discussion are better than my discussion. Even myself also go through other's discussion. If I find anything interesting topic for discussion, I respond to them. Now, I may have to take the notice of other's discussions. Thank you for sharing of the interesting topic.

....we usually add friend if you feel that his or her post or discussions were similar or interest us...although we can still add friends depending on our basis of adding them..maybe because we simply want to populate our friends list or other more reasons that we have...in my own opinion, a need to respond to their discussion is not necessary..although it is better, but still, other people simply loves to read responses that telling their own opinion...

Whenever I receive emails about the discussions my friends started, I read them and answer if it interests me. sometimes i visit their profiles and see if i'd be able to find similar discussions that they have answered and i could also answer.

Every friend that I add a discussion, I definitely got an email. Through my incoming email to respond discussion. So every day I give feedback to my friends at Mylot. But I do not respond to all discussion that made by my friend, I simply respond according to my ability to respond.

I check the "friends started" page pretty often, but I only respond when I think that I actually have something to contribute to the discussion. If I've got nothing, then I won't respond. They might be my friend, but I'm sure they don't want some lame half-hearted answer like... "I dunno".

Hello GemmaR, Well, you added me recently. Yes, i always look on to the my friends discussion. but i am afraid i don't have the knowledge to some of them because it's not part of my interest. although, now i had time to respond to other topics, i just can't share what i already know since i didn't research on it.. but now a days i look to the different discussions being made above the post.

aw gemma thats sweety of you^^ you are right sure we cant answer to all discussions of our friends but we can answer to some we like^^ me i usually go when i see someone seems nice i see their page and discussions they created or answered and i answer it too^^ is nice to know that you have friends to actually care for what they do here^^ im your friend too and want thank you for that^^

i check my friends tab once in awhile. i sometime forget its there lol. but since you mentioned it. ill check it out next! ..................................................... thanks!
