I enjoy very much visiting countries in different parts of the world. The places are so unique and amazing in different ways. It is, of course, better to choose the time most suitable considering the seasonal weather conditions. Here in Canada, Spring time is nice for traveling to places, the Pacific side, the Atlantic side. How about in your country ? When would be the best time to travel in your country ?

In Norway, it depends what you want to do. Many people come here to go skiing, and then the summer isn't really be best time :-) I'm not too fond of skiing myself so I'd travel around here in summer, because I love the long, light nights, or maybe early autumn in the mountains. Nice colours, not too cold yet (although some places just got 60 cm of snow), lot of berries and mushrooms.

I used to enjoy skiing before, during my younger years. But, I can't take the risk any more. Yes, I have heard about people going to Norway for skiing. I suppose Norway is one of the most popular countries in the world for skiing. Oh, the mountains would be very scenic and beautiful !

This year, both the mountains and the rest of the country are very, very wet! :-)
First I thought "what's the risk with skiing?", but you maybe did slalom or some other sort of scary downhill skiing? Never did that, I used to do cross country. If we say skiing here, it's usually cross country. For everything else you'd specify, so that people know whether they shoud start long discussions with you about the quality of the slopes, equipment, snow etc.
I prefer taking pictures of snow to skiing on it. Very pretty. Don't mind it being cold, according to my flatmate I'm a bit weird that way.

Any time is a good time to visit the Philippines, with the possible exception of Holy Week (around Easter), when hotels book out months in advance and prices triple. New Year’s sees a similar hotel crunch in popular spots like Boracay, but the parties make it worthwhile. Also be aware that during typhoon season (June to early December), tropical storms raging up the east coast can mean foul weather for days, but there’s not much you can do to predict typhoons. Adopt the Filipino maxim – bahala na (whatever will be will be) – and wait it out.
Have a nice day!

Thank you so much for the information. Yes, I have heard a lot about typhoons hitting the Philippines, making things very dangerous to travel around. I will certainly keep that in mind. When visiting the Philippines, I should avoid doing in the typhoon season.

Here in England the summer time is from the beginning of June to the end of August. Hot or warm weather is possible during those months of the year. September and October are cooler, because those months are in autumn. I think Spring is a very pleasant time for a traveler to visit my home country. Spring begins at the end of March and lasts through April and May. It has cool days but some rain is expected in April. They are known as the April showers. The school holidays are from late July and all of August. Beaches get busy in those months of the year, especially August. I suggest May and June are the best months, cool to warm weather and less crowds than in the summer. London is a popular city to explore and people like to visit it all year round. I think that November to February would be the worst possible time to visit my home country because of the miserably cold weather of winter.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. So, I should plan for May and June. Some of my friends are dreaming of visiting UK for holidays. I certainly will tell them about that too. Yes, I can understand. It won't be nice to visit during the winter months. That's the same here for Canada too.

Summer vacation is the best time to travel it typically lasts about 3 months. ppl usually take that time and use it as free time to do whatever they need to whether it be traveling or summer working to catch up on some money, or summer school, or nothing at all. its a great/favorite time of the year and I really look forward to it.

Summer vacation time ! Nice to visit places and enjoy the holidays ! I suppose we can then choose the places to travel to depending on the weather conditions regionally, beaches or mountains, or other resorts, places of tourist attractions.

Brazil ! Wonderful ! I have seen very nice pictures of Brazil, and the city Rio de Janeiro. Summer time in Brazil would be winter time here in Canada. That would be very nice to escape the winter here. I have never been to Brazil so far. I very much like to visit some day. Thank you.

These United States have so many different areas that one could visit Anytime of year. So let me get specific. If you ever want to visit Washington D.C. come in early spring. If you don't like crowds then come Before the Cherry Blossom festival, say early March or so. If you don't mind crowds then come During the Cherry Blossom Festival, it usually falls around late March/ early April. we usually have good weather and you get to see the monuments and the beautiful Cherry Blossoms.

People in Canada often travel to tropical countries for holidays during the winter time here. That's what we say winter escape. Yes, indeed, Philippines would be a perfect country to go to in the winter months. I have been to the Philippines once, and I very much enjoyed the stay there. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the welcome. I was in Manila once, some years ago on a business trip. Oh yes, the city is so beautiful and the people are very friendly. It would be very nice to enjoy holidays at one of the beach resorts. I did not have the time last time. I surely would like to have the opportunity to come again. A mountain resort would be nice too.

Summer would be the best time to travel in our country. January could be a nice time to, since that would be the start of the chain of festivals that happen in different regions and provinces. A lot of sites will be appreciated when it's summer other than that you might experience still a wonderful time but you have to endure the rain too.
oh yeah i'm talking about philippines.

we have a lot of 'snow birds' here in Texas in the winter, but honestly, while it is a LOT better than most of the northern areas of North America, I would suggest spring being a better time to come to Texas, of course, spring in Texas would be March to mid-April, but that's when the wild flowers are going strong.
So, should you decide to visit the great nation of Texas, that's when I suggest you come (I have been to the Pacific coast of Canada in the summer and thought it lovely.)

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I would very much like to spend my annual holidays in the State of Texas one time. Spring time ! Okey, I will surely keep that in mind. Here in western Canada, spring time in the Rockies is very scenic and pleasant too.

Here in Davao city, Philippines, the best to travel will be around August and December. In August there's Kadayawan festival showcasing the unique culture and tradition of Dabawenyos, there's celebration in the street, you will see the streetdance of local ethnic dance then lots of food in the street, this is also the season of fruit festival, all tropical fruits are cheaper during this time.
December is another wonderful month of the year because there's the traditional "simbang gabi" or early dawn mass in all Roman Catholic churches, Philippines is the only country in the world which celebrated this Holy Mass as part of the preparation of the birth of Jesus on December 25, so foreigners have a chance to witness this tradition. Then outside the church there are lots of native delicacies to buy.

Thank you very much. That is so interesting to know. I have been to the Philippines once, just to Manila, a very beautiful city. That was not in a festival time. I sure would like to have the chance to come again, this time around the festival times. That would be very enjoyable.

I very much enjoy travelling to countries in the Asia-Pacific region, many places to see, nice weather most of the time. I have been to Manila, Philippines, but have not got around to the sea beaches or the islands. I know they are very beautiful.
