"We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;" II Corinthians 4:8,9 I dont have much to say, I think this verse pretty much speaks for itself. No matter what is going wrong in your world, stay strong, keep the faith, and know that we are not alone in this! God bless!

I love these verses but always like to include verses 7-12 which I will not quote here. Your comment is right I would just add that the way we do this in these "earthen vessels" is by the power of Almighty God within us. Yes indeed then and now and tomorrow in Him I well not be distressed, preplexed, in despair, nor forsaken or destroyed, by His Grace we are kept and like you said we are not alone in this! Receive His Blessing they are given daily.

It's comforting to know that God promised He'd never leave us nor forsake us.

Thank you too you for sharing this with us... God really works in wonders! he passes on messages to us in every possible way and I believe he really cares for us as much as we want to be cared about. I am feeling that this trouble is never ending, really but hey... its going to change for sure!!! I will keep this in mind. :)

I agree with you. We must remain steadfast in our faith. Let all the sufferings we experience not discourage us. We must have a faith in God.

"Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, 'Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy: have no pity! Kill them all - old and young, girls and women and little children." - Ezekiel 9:5 "Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants." - Isaiah 14:21 "From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. 'Go on up, you baldhead!' they said. "Go on up you baldhead!' He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled (original translation: tore apart) forty-two of the youths." - 2 Kings 2:23-24 I think those verses pretty much speak for themselves. No matter what you quote from the bible, nothing changes the fact that the god you believe in is an evil murderer. Oh, and just for the hell of it, "Do not clip your hair at the temples, nor trim the edges of your beard." - Leviticus 19:27 You might want to share that with your husband
