I have been selling my handmade glycerin soaps for the past six years online. I started with an eBay store, but have since moved to just using Etsy and my own website. I tried craft shows, but never could make a profit there. I do not make much of a profit online, but I do stay in the black.

I was going to recommend etsy as well. I have several friends that sell on that site and they say it is wonderful! I have bought stuff from Etsy and they have great sellers. I don't sell any of my crafts, I usually just give them as presents to my family. Happy crafting!

I do actually profit from making my crafts because I sell them locally and on etsy. I usually sell my cross stitching's, crochet, knitting and of course my natural bath and body products. All in all I make good money from it, grant it I'm not rich but I make a good amount and that is what matters.

I want to sell my crafts as well, but am not sure where to start. I make Christmas ornaments, bath salts and soap. I have a lot of things made, but I want to make sure that things like this will sell. I really need the money right now. Where would you sell online? If anyone can help please let me know.

No, I do not profit from crafting - even though I love it so much. If I had the time, I would open a small store in Etsy.com and start selling. I browse that site a lot and I would really like to be part of its active community of artists.

I make bookmarks and notebooks and I also draw. I'm fairly new at this, though, but so far I've set up a store on Etsy and I've also been trying to sell some of my stuff on Ebay. I haven't had much luck so far, though... but still, I'm not giving up, since I believe one of the most important things when starting an online business is perseverance :)
