A Wedding Proposal

I made a poem out of boredom. I was thinking back then how will I propose to my love one. Out of brainstorming, I was able to write this poem. How about you? How will you propose to your love one? Please, I want to hear some of your ideas about it. Maybe they are better than mine. Thanks and happy lotting to all!
A Wedding Proposal

You electrified my heart
And now I don't know how to start
The usual conversation that we had
When I was not yet in love
You made my day so bright
Even in the darkest night
There is nothing that I could wish for
Because you are the one that I've been looking for
You filled in my emptiness
By removing all of my sadness
Your smile takes my breath away
That I skip the words that I should say
And every time I get so bored
I think about your words
Life is full of mystery
And I wonder how you have come to me
You are a rare beauty to me
That is incomparable to anybody
I hope you answer my question lovely lady
And that is will you marry me?

Well, I need to find the right girl first. The one I was planning to give this to has been married already and has a good and happy family. I wish her all the best.

You surely do? That is a corny poem that I wrote. Well when people are in love they surely right something out of the blue. I wonder if I could make another one just like that.

@JasperTore Corny? There's no corny words as long as it comes from the bottom of your heart and all you're telling is the truth. It may sound corny to other people but for you and for those people who believe in you it will surely be appreciated.

Not yet. I have to finish first my degree before I propose to her. I told myself that I will make my move after I graduated. She is working already and it will be a shame in my part if I can't even treat her to lunch or dinner.

Hmm. Your poem is 7 years ago. How is she now? And, what happen after you finished your degree? Did you push to give this poem to here? Are you still having connection till now? Sorry I have so many questions here. I’m just wondering what happen next after 7 year you wrote this poem.

Well the thing is she is married already and pregnant to her 2nd child. We are still friends. I didn't give her the poem. She even invited me to her wedding but I was overseas back then so I wasn't able to take a leave and attend.
