who is your Hero?

When I was still young, I look up to all the super-heroes I've seen on tv. I even imitated the way they dress up and tell my playmates that I am this super hero. I guess it's pretty normal and all kids passed this stage. Now that we've grown, who would you consider your hero/super-hero in real life? For me,second to God who can do all great things, I think it is my parents. They are my heroes because of all the hardships and sacrifices they made for me so I can be where I am right now, I guess it is one way of showing how I love them and appreciated all the things they did for me, is by calling them my ALL TIME HEROES...

when i was younger, i used to have heroes, super heroes actually. However, as i have grown older, i would say i have come to be quite disillusioned with things and people that with your question now, i can honestly think of noone when i think about heroes in my life.
i don't idolize my parents that much although i appreciate what they are doing for me and my siblings, i can't say i would like to follow in their footsteps someday, for honestly, i don't want to.
It's good to have a hero in our life. I think of God highly, but i don't consider him to be a hero or sort, He is the ultimate Being, second to none, equal to none. and i don't think i deserve to even hero-worship him.
