Immortality

What would life be like if one were immortal? Many books, tv shows and movies have touched on the subject of immortality, making life seem exciting and adventures. But what happens once you have experienced everything there is to experience in life? How much can you grow spiritually? Would life not become monotonous, tedious and boring? What do you think?

If we look at the universe, it seems to never end, so how could living forever be boring? In one lifetime of 100 years and most people don't even live that long at this time, we get to not even scratch the surface of the mysteries that God has hidden within the universe. After thousands of years, we still understand very little about the forces at work even within this small planet earth. That question would be better answered after we have lived for thousands of years. What do you think?

So who is going to ask the question, since I don't know anyone who is immortal? I think it would be different for each as our natures differ; those who are inquisitive will never get tired as there will always be something to investigate; but those not so inquisitive may get bored with life after a thousand years.

Asking for immortality is asking to be here forever. It may sound exciting at first, but eventually that excitement would fade away. I'm sure that being mmortal would also have it's problems to face. What if the one you loved wasn't immortal too? could you continue living in eternity with out them? I would rather live the life i have than to be immortal.

What about wealth, would an immortal be wealthy? I mean what would be the use of being immotal if you don't have money to enjoy everything. Could an immortal be poor? I think life would then become really boring. I think I would li to live a happy life than an immortal life.

I think it would be a very lonely life. It will also harden your feelings as you will see loved ones come and go. It would make you very wise and very experienced but it will bore you. In the end, you either would want to die or find ways to keep your immortality.

Even when one learns all that can be learned, there is more to do. One can always teach. There are enough variables with people and personality that there will always be something to do unless your goal is to simply have it made.

The only problem with being immortal is seeing your love ones pass away before you. I cannot get the hung of it seeing my children getting older than me.

A man can do another immortal man, carrying on, his teachings over the boundaries of time and space as we have so many immortal, we cheer, or make us cry with thoughts, moods, or feelings. May immortal than that, I do not see eye now.
