Bullying in American Schools

I was a victim of bullying in Middle and Junior high. My worst fear is that my children will be victims. E! Investigates has recently aired a program on bullying and of course Phoebe Prince was a case that was discussed.
I'm interested in what others think about why children bully to the point of the victim killing themselves.

Nowadays bullying almost happen in any school any country.I think the main reasons caused bullying in schools may be due to three aspects.First:School Wise.School authority should strengthen education management and regard right psychological guidance instead of forcing or requiring children to obey something that they reluctantly want to.Second:Parents Wise.Parents should spare much more time to accompany children,get over what children really need and think of.Third:Society Wise.Yet bullying in society,which,contrasted with bullying in schools is more despicable,vary in many ways.Maybe children just imitate adult's way.At last,as time goes on,we human and the whole society is improving,i believe that this phenomenon will gradually reduce.

I don't know why children bully each other. It's one of those things that though the explanations are there, they don't seem like nearly enough to justify the things that are being done. I think that kids need to learn that actions have consequences and some things should never be said no matter how little of a big deal they think it is.
