What with the betting cricket scandal and all...I got to thinking about the last time I was...Ehm...Less than...Ehm...Honest...What was the last thing you cheated on? It can be anything, games, tests...Well; I don’t mean cheating on a spouse unless you really want to fess up ! As for me...The last thing I cheated on was my diet! I convinced myself that eating ice cream while standing at the freezer made it calorie free!

Ha Ha! The ice cream was definitely not calorie free!
The last thing that I cheated on was a survey. I knew that if I answered the question honestly, that they would have ended the survey there and then as it had happened to me before. They say that I do not meet their criteria for the survey and thank you for your time. So I told a little fib, just so that I could continue with the survey and earn the points!

I really hate how they do that ... They want you to be honest and to give as much true and sincere information as possible but when you do then boom all of a sudden your not good enough to continue the survey or something??

I have that done that too during those times when it doesn't seem to be any surveys that I do qualify for! You can still answer the questions as honestly as you can though, besides they are only little fibs, right?

Yeah, they are only little fibs. I just go back in time in my mind with them to a time when I would have consumed the products that they are asking about.

I cheated on the number of slice cakes present in the packet......i did that just to prevent the fight between both my kids...to solve the problem of equal distribution....i ate one......and converted the odd number to even....and i told them that there were one lesser....

Very good (LOL)! We have to do what is needed in order to keep in peace and you eating one of the slices was only fair so that everybody had some! I have often given my daughter a lesser number of biscuits than what she asked for hoping she won't count them but she always does! Thanks eshaan!

I've done that time and time again! In fact I'm still doing it (LOL)! I have cheated knowing full well the consequences which is no weight loss this week and possible a gain but surely, if you eat standing up it doesn't count! Thanks Elic!

LOL! Very funny!
Hmm, let me see...the last thing I cheated on was a video game. LOL
I tried getting past it on my own. Really, I did. But then when I couldn't I gave up on it for a few years. Finally, not that long ago, I gave it another shot (thanks to my youngest one cheering me on). But this time when I couldn't get passed the same level I cheated by looking it up online. It's kind of a good thing I did, because if I hadn't of cheated I would of never gotten past level 2! So, sometimes it's good to cheat...well, when it comes to something like this anyway! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I do that quite often; take a look at the back page where the answers are...That's a thought...If you have no knowledge of the calorie content it must mean there aren't any! What a relief...Phew...Thanks Dawn!

hahaha nice discussion because i can really relate. :P
its like this, at the office we do have a lot of updates work related. first we will have a training then right after the training we will take an assessment based on what we discussed. gosh, its only 15 items, however we have to familiarized everything. we were 7 taking the tests, good thing after the test, our trainer told us to exchanged paper from our seatmate. hahaha so therefore, out of 15 i got only 12 and the passing score is 13, what i did?? i told my seatmate to change my answer just to have a passing grade. waaaaa im so bad, but my point there is, i dont want to take the test again. and im not the only one whos doing the same crime hahahaa

Who cares, you know your stuff right? I recall taking a test for a promotion once and obtaining all the answers from a friend who worked in the human resources area! It was outright cheating I guess; I had forgotten about it until I read your response, my friend took a huge risk giving me those answers; he could have lost his job! I've learned better these days...Thanks for responding carrine!

Ha,ha!I've done that before! I know I've put on weight but I refuse to weigh myself so that when I have to quote my weight I put down what it was before I gained so I am not really lying am I? Thanks Pam, great response!

Hi Paula,
I would say that the last thing I cheated on was my "wanting a healthier lifestyle." My family and I have started eating healthier, but the other night I saw one of my favourite chocolate bars at the store and I just had to have it. I gave my daughter some so I didn't have the whole thing to myself, but still *sigh* I cheated!

Oh well, it was chocolate, what else could you do? It is pretty darn hard to resist. I'm like that with my favourite Kit Kat Giant Chunky bars, they are so delicious, they are huge and that's how I like them...I wonder why my jeans dont fit anymore...Thanks for sharing PurpleTeddyBear!

I don't weigh myself anymore so that I cannot answer the 'how much do you weigh' question. If I say I don't know I am not acknowledging that I have put on weight! I know...I'm only cheating myself...I know...Thanks Pat!

LOL...that is cheating alright...but maybe not so much if you convince yourself that it's true. I was giving up the whole caffeine thing and I do love my Mello Yellows..lol...I decided to buy just one more...and one more...and well...I don't drink that many..LOL.

(LOL)! I can relate especially when it's difficult to stop at one and, let's face it some things are not as good if we only have the one! I think that it is psychologically really hard to give up things because the minute we tell ourselves we can't have something we crave it more and more. Thanks your your input Jen!

Hi paula,
I am not angel, to be clear, but when I read your question I had to scratch my head, and think hard about when was the last time I cheated. I was all ready to say that I haven't cheated in so many years, but then I read your last sentence about cheating on your diet....I laughed out loud. That would be me, the diet cheater. I guess that is why I don't diet anymore.
Eat, exercise, and watch the calories is my new way of thinking.

I have decided not to diet anymore as well because the moment I tell myself I can't have something, I will crave it like crazy! It's best to still eat the same things but cut portion sizes, increase exercise and eat standing up in front of the freezer (LOL! Thanks for responding Angelgirl!

Hi paula,
I just celebrated today being Friday, with all the wrong foods, but since I am not on a diet I can do that, in moderation, of course. I am loving this new rule, No More Dieting!!!

I always promise myself to have some exercise to have a good shape. However, I can only make it in first time, but after that i can't. I also promise myself that I have to finish this thing in a certain time or day. However, unfortunately, I procrastinate it.

So you cheat with your time I guess, it's so easy to put off the things that are difficult or unpleasant, I used to do it way too much and I am much better now but I still can't stick to a diet! I may just give up on that one...Thanks for the response bloemart!

Phew! That's reassuring (LOL)! Of course if you don't nap you will use up more calories by staying awake, right? Sometimes you can cheat and talk yourself out of the fact that you are cheating! Thanks kalav, appreciate the response my friend!

hi paula yes I have fallen off the diet bandwagon today and had extra servings of soup and mac and cheese. shameon me. Icheated but my blood
sugar was low and oh I was so hungry. So today I did not cut any'
calories at all, shame on me, Mac and cheese was so good. unusual in a ; place like Gold crest. most of their dishes are frankly yuck. But the guy in the kitchen who makes the soup is a genius with ingredients and the soup is always so good.and the mac and cheese with lots of cheese in it.,

Oh how I relate! I looove mac and cheese! It is the yummiest of all comfort foods! If the food is not great most of the time, you may as well make the most of the delicious stuff whenever it is being served, I think! I can almost taste the mac and cheese with extra cheese... Thanks Hatley, now I'm hungry!

It's so darn hard isn't it? Diets are so cruel! Tell me I can't eat something and I will crave it like crazy! It's crazy psychological warfare! I must say I am pretty honest in most things but when it comes to diet I lie to my own self! Thanks ANTIQUELADY!
