Found her on craigslist, this couple has a neighbor that's really poor and they had these two Siamese adults and they mated and had four kittens. When this couple went to visit them, they saw that the cats and kittens were outside and eating out of their neighbors trash cans/trash bags and playing in the sewer leakage problem. All of them were full of fleas, ticks, ear mites and so on, the couple made a deal with the people and said they'd take the cats, all of them and get them cleaned up and find homes for all of them. Well before they could get the mother cat, she got ran over by the owners by accident. So sad! The couple took the rest, four kittens and the daddy and trying to find homes for them all. Hubby and I got one female and she's so sweet! She's very outgoing and friendly but also a love bug too!
You know I lost my Gracie Grace last year so I've been wanting to get another Siamese but having so many cats already, I thought I'd wait but hubby's sister saw the ad and called us and told us. Of course I couldn't resist and hubby was ok with it so now we have 11 and a half cats. The reason I say 11 and a half is because this one comes every now and then and goes. He's so sweet but I don't know if he belongs to someone in the neighborhood already or is homeless so until I know more my total stands at 11 and a half. This newbie looks a lot like Music, my tiger striped cat but this little guy has green eyes! Gorgeous green eyes!
So what do you think of my newest baby? I named her PG which stands for "Pretty Girl" but might change it to either "Angel" or "Baby" but don't know just yet.

Oh Cats! She’s so sweet! Who couldn’t love a kitten? I’m glad your husband was okay with the new addition. We have a dog, two cats, a bird and three fish and my husband has threatened divorce if I come home with any more animals! I had a Siamese when I was a child, they are very intelligent and somewhat ‘doglike’; my friend has one that plays fetch just like a puppy!

That's amazing! I had a Siamese when I was kid and he never walked the walls, I would love to see that sometime, I must ask my friend if hers does it...Amazing...Enjoy your new little friend!

She is absolutely adorable! I'm so jealous! I love Siamese!
I haven't had a cats in years (my dog isn't too crazy about them). However, my last kitty was a cousin to the Siamese. He was a beautiful cat and oh so sweet! And so patient with my kids. I couldn't have asked for a better cat. He was the best!
Anyway, congratulations on your new addition!
Happy mylotting!

Thank you sacmom! Her personality is really coming out now since she's more and more comfortable being here. She's running around, chasing things, jumping in the air like silly kittens do! She keeps us in stitches all the time with her antics! LOL

Hi crazydaisy! Yeah, it is too bad for the mother cat. It does happen. I've ran over a few myself and it's so heartbreaking but sure as hell wasn't intentional! Still, the guilt and all, whew! Anyway, I'm going to keep the name PG, Pretty Girl because she is or I can say it's Precious Girl too! lol

Hi rjjavier, Welcome to mylot!! Hope you enjoy your time here! I've been here for three years now and wouldn't part from it for nothing! lol I have 11 cats and maybe one more depending on the one cat and they're all domestic short hair (mixed breeds) except for two, the kitten and another one, a male named Bobo and I love them all. I think I will keep the name PG. It fits her to a T. I love the names you choose for your cats! That's cute!

She is so pretty. I had a siamese mixed cat, sadly I believe she was hit by a car. I just hope it was quick for her. She had been missing for awhile, I was hoping she would come home. My neighbor told me he had seen a cat around the corner that had got hit by a car. He thought it was another cat that looked like her, the other day he saw the cat that he thought had gotten hit. My Bella was a long haired white kitty with the dark grey fur like a siamese. I know what you mean about having a half cat. I have a half cat too. I have 3 1/2 half cats. The 1/2 cat is my grandkids next door cat, but the cat likes it better over her and has basically decided it wants to live here. She has become my newest bed buddy. The have a dog and just got a puppy. The dog doesn't hurt any of the cats, but the cat just doesn't want bothered. Have fun with your new baby.

She is gorgeous. I love Siamese cats I have had 3 of them, Cleo (from Cleopatra) I brought to the states with me from Germany along with her Persian friend.
Siamese cats cannot retract their claws like other cats so when Cleo walked across the hardwood floor my ex used to say she sounded as if she was wearing hobnailed boots.
Your baby looks like a seal point same as my Cleo. The are very different and again I love them! So I wish you many happy years with your baby!

Hi whiteheather! Hobnailed boots, eh? LOL What a name! LOL Your husband had to have a great sense of humor! I love the name Cleo! Yeah, my baby girl is a seal point. I have a blue point male and his name is Bobo. He's five now and is just as sweet now as he ever was! He doesn't like PG though.... not yet anyway. I hope to have her longer than I had my Gracie Grace. I'm sure she had a hand in my getting PG! She was such a sweetheart too!

Awwwww jillhill.... she's such a sweetheart that she has to sit in my lap just before she goes to sleep whether it's a nap or nighty night time. She's rambunctious as all get out when she's awake! She's the most rambunctious Siamese kitten we've ever had and she's given us a lot of laughs!

She is so cute. I had a friend who had a siamese and this cat was awesome..Usually this breed are not so people friendly, (at least with strangers) and are not good with kids. My friend had 3 very rowdy and hyper kids and yet I'd come over and this cat was so friendly, I fell in love..I tried many times to take the cat off my friends hands, but she never would give him up...lol

Hi carmelanirel! Thanks! She's my baby and she knows it! lol My other cats aren't to fond of her yet but they'll get used to her. I sleep with her in a closed room so nobody can hurt her while I'm asleep and may not hear her because I can't sleep with my hearing aids.
The cat you described has to be really used to the rowdy kids to be so calm and friendly. My Gracie Grace loved people. Most of them just run and hide but not my Gracie Grace! Oh no! She wanted to be right in the middle of it all! I couldn't part from ANY of my furry friends either! lol

I could have a cat here but I would be charged one hundred more dollars on the rent which I just do not have. lol so will enjoy all my friends cats for now. lol.I found the deleted files but do not know how to move them back so will wait til my son,the computer expert comes to see me. lol. my son is always saying good thing you cannot delete p eople. Oh Hatley! It takes time to learn the computer and even when you do, retaining it is another chore. Believe me I know. I can't remember half the stuff that I've been taught and my mom can't remember ANY of it. But hubby and I are happy to help when she needs it and I'm sure your son doesn't mind helping you. It happens so don't down yourself over it.
That's a shame that your place charges so much to have a pet but EVERY month?! Good grief! That's a lot! I couldn't afford that either! That's ridiculous! More like insane! But what ever floats their boat, I guess.

Thanks bunnybon! She is a sweetheart! When she wants to nap, she wants me to hold her till she falls asleep. She cries out when she can't find her way out of something. lol
That's so sad about your male. Some people are just insensitive morons. At least he found a wonderful home with you!! Bless your kind heart!

I love Siamese cats! Just LOVE them. If I could have another one somehow, I'd do it in a heartbeat. My Simon was an indoor/outdoor cat, but he wore a harness and was on a lead that gave him the run of the yard without allowing him to leave the yard. He was a bit loopy, but he adored my mother. He also had a girlfriend for a while (he was fixed, but she wasn't) who would have her babies and bring them to him to help raise them. Mom never caught her, but did gather up the kits (who would all line up at the back door in the morning for breakfast) and found a place for all but one. She kept Sam Cat. Mama disappeared one day - she wasn't afraid of people, but wouldn't allow people to touch her. She didn't teach her babies to be afraid, though. Simon and his GF would sleep on top of the tarp that covered Dad's tractor, curled up together in the back yard. Simon lived to be 18 and was a pedigree. His owners sold him cheaper because he had the crossed eyes they couldn't show or sell. But, I just love those cats. People think they're mean, but I haven't found one yet that is.

Hi jerzgirl! What a cute story! We had a loopy Siamese cat one time too but he was such a lover boy though. Anytime we left to go shopping or what ever, he'd raise cain and able when we returned. He did not like being left alone although he was able to go outside or stay in as he pleased. I guess he expected us to stay there all the time. Silly cat! He'd get lost too and couldn't find his way back. He got lost three times! He was such a dipstick of a cat! But we loved him all the more. His name was Sandman.
My mom had a female Siamese and she kept her on a harness/leash for the first few years to keep her from going to the road and getting hit. That made her very wary of the road and cars that came into the driveway. When one came in, she flew! Which was a good thing, of course. She too lived to be 18.
As you already know, Siamese have a mean streak in them just as a pit bull or any other breed in that category however, it's mainly females that are that way but ONLY when the owners tease them and bring that mean side out. If they're treated with love and nothing but, the mean streak won't come out. They'll still be very vocal because that's the breed but they won't be mean. It's all in how you raise them. I love Siamese too! I love both the females and males, females are very demanding and loyal just as the males are but not as demanding as the female. Males are more dependent than the females too.

Hi Jo! It's really not that hard. We have a cat door so they can go in and out as they please plus our three small dogs, chihuahua's can use the door too and they go into the smaller pen so the big dogs can't get to them and hurt them, cats too unless they go over the fence. They all know when it's dinner time and where it's at and come running! Some even remind me that they're hungry. lol

Ahhhh! Hey Cats! Congrats on the new little one! I am so jealous.
I only have two and wish I could fill the apartment with more!
But, I have no room and my Luna is a moody bully and beats up
his brother Star so I would definitely have a problem bringing
in a new addition, although I really want another one so badly!
They are six and are so sweet, but I really want another "baby"!
Enjoy your newest addition and all the rest! Hugs, Opal

Hi Opal! I bet if you got another one, Luna would eventually get used to it. I've never let my cats tell me what I can or can't do. lol They know mommy has a water bottle and will use it if I have to. lol Sometimes all I have to do is say their names in a firm way and they know! Anyway, a baby grows up though. They don't stay little for long and the next thing you know, their adults. I love kittens too but they do grow up and too darned fast! But like you, I still love them when they grow up.
